Midway through boxing up my stuff I realized I needed those sales—moving next month and a bad lower back, so I listed my video game collection on eBay. Within a week the same buyer bought two different titles and then opened returns on both. One was listed "Used - Good" with photos showing the small scuff he later complained about; the other was a brand-new copy we were the only owner of. He never answered any messages asking for details. We're waiting on the items to arrive and have blocked him from buying again. On the plus side, blocking was easy and the return process is traceable.
A small delivery surprise
Weirdly, the box looked a bit plain when it arrived. I half-expected it to be tossed around, but the packing was actually solid. Delivery was fast too — earlier than I thought. I thought the controllers would be used, since that was mentioned elsewhere, but they were brand new, which was a surprise. Customer service answered one question quickly, polite but not over the top. Payment options like money order and check were nice to see; not many places do that anymore. I've had worse experiences with other sellers, so I was cautious. In the end my husband was happy and so was I.
Pretty decent, a few rough edges
I'm happy enough with the purchase, but it's not flawless and I'd shop around next time. I bought this for my PS1 collection and started using it the first weekend it showed up — unboxed it that evening and it mostly looked good. The tracking situation was annoying: I had to email to get a status update, shouldn't have needed to, but they replied quickly once I did. Only real gripe is a smudge on one of the CD retainers that made it look slightly used — not terrible, just kinda off. Functionally everything fits and works, so it's fine. Price felt fair but not amazing. So yeah, satisfied overall, but there are clear signs they could improve the finish and communication so it feels more professional. I'll compare a few other shops next time.
