Customer service non-existent
I had a really bad experience with the customer service on this website. Nobody ever responds to emails or messages, and my account was either stolen or vanished without a clue. I strongly suggest steering clear of this website no matter what.
Bluetooth earbuds
Hey everyone, I gotta share with you the craziest thing that happened with this company I dealt with. They really had the nerve to suggest that I close my PayPal case just to get a refund. Can you believe it? Why should I have to go through all that hassle just to get back what's rightfully mine? It's insane. And let me tell you, their communication was a complete disaster. I kept asking for updates and got absolutely nothing in return. It's like they don't think we deserve to know what's going on. And their so-called "promise" of a refund? Yeah, that was just a bunch of empty words with no real follow-through. This whole experience really left a bad taste in my mouth. Just a heads up to all you customers out there - beware, beware.
Misleading advertisement
My experience with this company totally sucked. I thought I was getting one thing based on the website, but when I got my order, it was totally different. I felt like they tricked me into buying it. When I called customer service, they were no help at all and didn't even fix the problem. I definitely wouldn't suggest buying from them because they're not honest and their customer service stinks.
Two drone purchases.
I ordered two drones, and man, it's been a mess dealing with this company. First off, only one drone got credited to my account, now that money's vanished into thin air. And the other drone still hasn't made an appearance. To top it off, they're straight up ignoring my emails now. I'm out 400 bucks because of this sketchy business.
Tablet Order Issue
I had a really bad experience with GearBest last December. I ordered two tablets, but I never got them or my money back, even after reaching out to their customer service a bunch of times. I'm feeling super let down and irritated by how unreliable and unhelpful they've been. Needless to say, I won't be telling anyone to use GearBest in the future.
Phone order
I just ordered a smartphone from this website not too long ago. But, sadly, my order never showed up. I'm starting to think I might've gotten scammed. Just a heads up for anyone else thinking about buying from this site - be careful!
Drone purchase
I just bought a drone from this company and I gotta say, I am super impressed with my whole experience. It did take a bit longer than I anticipated for it to get delivered, arriving about two and a half weeks later, but it came without any problems. The drone I got is a well-known model in the tech world and it has been working perfectly for the past three years.
Wrong item received
I ordered two faucets and what happens? They send me a juicer instead. Can you believe it? How does that even happen, right? I was so annoyed that I didn't even bother keeping the package, just handed it right back to the courier. Good thing I checked it right away, or who knows how long it would've taken to fix this whole mess.
Non-delivery of ordered items
I purchased some items that never showed up. Instead of giving me a refund, they sent me 2 vouchers with codes for the same amount. But I can't even use them because I lost touch with the website. I reached out by filing a ticket and all I got was an automated reply, which doesn't help at all. So now I'm stuck and can't get back my 38.95€.
cool gadgets
I recently got some awesome gadgets from this website, and I was really looking forward to testing them out. However, I ran into some issues with my order. The website was down for a whole day, and I was freaking out! There are rumors going around that the company that owns the website is bankrupt, so I was really concerned about getting refunds for the items I ordered back in April. Thankfully, one of my refunds came through, so that's a relief. I hope they can sort things out because I really enjoy their products!
Loss of funds
I just had a pretty frustrating situation with my wallet balance on this website. I had about 50 bucks in there and poof, it vanished without a trace. When I reached out to customer service for help, they kind of brushed me off and tried to make it better with some random coupons that didn't really help. It's just not cool to treat customers like that, it left me feeling ripped off and annoyed. I'd suggest steering clear of this site because they're really shady with their money stuff.
Tablet Purchase
I ordered a tablet on 06/06/2021 and I was really looking forward to getting it. But when I checked on the status, it hadn't even been packed yet, even though the website said it was in stock. I reached out to the seller, and they told me that shipping from China was delayed because of COVID-19. I get it, things are tough right now. But they should have been upfront about that on the website. Customers deserve to know what's going on. Transparency is important.

Hey, so I was just looking to get some stuff for my phone, you know? But these reviews are kind of turning me off. I get that not everything can be great, but it looks like a bunch of folks have had problems with this place. I'm not sure if I should chance it.
Battery order never arrived
I ordered some batteries from GearBest, but they never showed up. I tried hitting up their customer service a bunch of times to see what was going on with my order, but they never got back to me. It's super annoying to be left in the dark like that. I definitely wouldn't recommend GearBest if you want to steer clear of getting ripped off.
Delayed order
I ordered something back in January but it's now May and I still haven't gotten it. I tried to cancel and get a refund, but the company said all they could give me was store credit. It's been super frustrating with the lack of communication and slow responses.
Smartphone
I just bought a smartphone from this company and honestly, I'm really not happy about it. Yeah, the prices were cheap, but man, their customer service and delivery times are seriously lacking. I waited for over six months for my order to finally show up, and when it did, the product was just not up to par. Dealing with the return was a total nightmare, and don't even get me started on the unhelpful and rude customer service reps. I wouldn't suggest buying from them if you actually care about your time and money.
Robotic vacuum cleaner purchase
I just got a robot vacuum from this website last year. But now after just a year, it's acting up on me. I tried reaching out to the manufacturer, but they said it's defective and I gotta go through the warranty with the seller. But the website hasn't been responding to any of my complaints, even after nine months of not being able to use my €500 robot. I've been looking around Italy for a repair center that can fix this specific brand with no luck. At this point, I might have to take legal action because this feels like straight-up fraud.

Gearbest would undoutedly be the worst online shopping experience I have endured in over 20 years of internet transactions.
To be clear about one thing... Gearbest are not an online shop with products to sell, but a virtual shopping mall, incorporating hundreds of little Chinese retailers. Not that this is bad, but unlike other reputable shopping malls who honour their customers purchases and transactions conducted through their interface, Gearbest provide no such guarantee or support. It has been my experience over 5 years of dealing with Gearbest that their service and reliability has declined considerably. That's right. All the more fool me to keep giving them another chance you may say.
I just buy junk for my grandkids, like tv boxes, headphones, flashlites, watches, etc, so the cost has never been the issue. It's like playing the lotteries when you order from Gearbest. You take your chances as whether it arrives or not.
If you ask for Gearbest support with regards to an unreceived order they will politely refer you to instructions on how to contact that seller. So then you have recreate another letter of enquiry giving dates, order number, product details and the problem for the reseller shop. In response from that store you can expect one of two things. 1/ a message, from someone with a poor command of the english language, to say they will investigate. 0r 2/ no response at all. This has happened to me many times.
So after a period of time you move to the next step, which is to go back to Gearbest support, recreate another letter of enquiry giving dates, order number, product details, the reseller and the problem. The response from Gearbest support this time is the condescending, "be patient" message and let us know how you get on over the coming months.
Currently for the 2020 year I'm only down six undelivered orders out of the 11 paid for.
I have outstanding orders from April 2020 to October 2020.
During the same period I have order items from AliExpress, Amazon, Readers etc... all goods arrive within a 2-3 week period... but with Gearbest expect delays of up to 8 mths, if they arrive at all.
Do I think Gearbest provide a good service? No.
