the booking system could be clearer — I almost booked the wrong day — and the online checkout later made it easy to typo my address (my bad, true). The surprise was the customer service though: Jesie fixed the address right away and followed up, which honestly saved Valentine’s Day stress. Packaging looked nicer than I expected and the quality held up. If you go, just double-check your details and enjoy the messy, fun craft vibe.
Sweet gift, stylish but fragile
She unwrapped it at breakfast and literally stopped talking — the little initial pendant is lovely, very delicate and all the teen drama aside, she loved it. I bought the 9ct gold initial necklace for my daughter’s 16th and she wore it for birthdays and a few family dinners, not every day. Trouble was the chain is crazy fine; after only a handful of special occasions it snapped. That’s the bit that bugs me. The design and finish are nice, really classy for a teen, but the chain just isn’t built for even occasional wear. I contacted the company and they were polite but basically said the links are too delicate to repair and offered 20% off a new one — so I’d pay a lot again for something that might not last. I get care instructions, sure, but their “forever” line felt a bit optimistic. If you want a pretty, lightweight piece that’ll sit in a jewelry box for years, go for it. If you want something to wear and forget about, ask for a sturdier chain or a stronger option.
Bent after a few weeks
By the time I noticed the ring was out of shape I’d already started wondering if I’d made a dumb choice. I first saw this signet on the brand’s Instagram and thought it looked smart, so I bought it as a gift and even told a coworker about it. A couple of weeks in the band had a visible bend — no knocks, no heavy work, my partner mostly types on a laptop. It just... bowed. I’m not delicate with jewelry either, I wear rings to the gym and lift regularly; those have lasted years without issue, so this felt off for something that cost £70. I emailed customer support and they basically said items don’t leave bent and that bending only comes from external force. Fine, that’s their line, but it doesn’t match the reality here. They offered a 10% discount toward repairs, which felt like a token gesture — I don’t want to pour cash into fixing something that should last longer out of the box. On the plus side, the design and finish are fine; it looks good when it’s not bent. Overall it works, but the durability and the way the company handled it left me underwhelmed. Probably won’t buy again or recommend it to anyone who needs something sturdy.
