I didn't expect this level of follow-through. We asked them to hold the shipment since we wouldn't be at our winter house in Arizona until after the holidays. They confirmed, then called before sending to make sure someone would be home. That was the moment I relaxed. Assembly took three days with help from friends and the 14x28 gazebo went up without missing parts or drama. We've had sloppy deliveries from other companies before, so this felt especially good. It's a solid backyard addition and I'm honestly glad it went so smoothly.
Solid backyard upgrade
I remember the first rainy evening after installation — the roof kept everything dry and that was the exact moment I felt satisfied. We started using it the week after delivery, mid‑July, and my first thought was that it’s heavier and more solid than the pictures implied. It sits in the yard quietly, not flashy, just does its job. Assembly took longer than I hoped, but Purple Leaf’s support answered my call fast when a part was missing, which made the rest painless. Delivery arrived on schedule and packaging was fine. Price felt fair for the build. Small nitpicks, but overall a good buy.
Wobbly shade, pricey fixes
expensive replacement parts from the manufacturer, lots of weekend fiddling, and improvised fixes to stop the posts tearing out of the base. Delivery wasn’t smooth either—missing parts at first—and customer service was slow and not very helpful. I’ve had better longevity from other outdoor kits I’ve owned, so this felt inferior in build quality. It does what it’s meant to do; it shades the patio. Still, for the price I expected more durability and fewer returns to the toolbox. Minor issues, but they add up.
