Have bought several items from Trainz and have had great fast service.
Lionel parts
Trainz parts service has been excellent lately. I had some issues (wrong items, missing) several years back. Tried buying again and in the last couple of years, service has improved greatly. Personal responses from service people is exceptional...quick to credit on damaged items (happens rarely). More importantly I get credit for excess shipping costs.
That's one needed improvement-to set up shipping charges that increment minimally for the small parts being ordered. E.G. $5 for first item, $0.50 for each subsequent part, subject to weight obviously. I'd rather pay close to the true charges than wait and receive credit for an overcharge (which they do reliably,, however)GN Caboose

The pins are as advertised and were delivered in a timely fashion. I haven't used them as yet but assume that they'll work just fine.

The 12950 Santa Fe Die - Cast Boxcar
I got the 12950 Santa Fe Boxcar K - Line Die - Cast Boxcar. It is nice and an unusual color reddish orange. I like die - cast freight cars from Lionel, K - Line and M T H Railking.

Collectible model train cars (2), plastic & metal construction.
Ordered 7/3, shipped 7/7, not delivered until 7/14 (FedEx). Box arrived damaged (looked like someone sat on it!). Luckily contents were double wrapped and survived the trip. Order was sent to a big city, not a small town: should NOT have taken 7 days to get here. Customer service was reluctant to track package for me; FedEx said they would MAIL me a tracking “code”- I never got any mail from FedEx. I would prefer USPS Priority Mail to FedEx, but was not given any choice by shipper. Other than Trainz not wanting to track shipment, most problems were with FedEx. I still don’t know if I’m “enrolled” with them now...
