there are way too many sketchy or repeat-looking requests, sometimes the same name and email pops up with variations in the details, and yeah, I’ve seen the same inquiry crop up multiple times in a day. I’ve requested credit returns a couple times and it helped, but I also get Bark can’t refund everything forever. Still, the wins — clients that actually book and show up — make me keep buying credits. My small ask would be stronger vetting or filtering for obvious bot/repeat posts, maybe a quick quality check on new inquiries. That’d save us time and credits. All in all I’m happy, a little cautious, but happy. I’ll keep using the service because the good leads pay off and they happen often enough. If you’re a vendor, be picky with credits, but don’t give up — you’ll get those good ones. Also, customer support has been helpful when I reached out, and that actually matters more than you'd think.
Took a Chance, Mixed Results
the system lists costs in credits so it’s hard to see what you’re really paying per lead unless you do the math. Sometimes alerts for big-ticket jobs showed up only after I'd burned through credits, which almost felt like a nudge to buy more. So yes, a handful of features were useful — the dashboard, the idea of weekly trial leads — but the core problem for me was lead quality versus the refund rules. After five months I hadn't managed to convert any of the leads into actual quotes or jobs, which strongly suggested the issue was with lead quality, not my ability to close sales. I appreciate that the platform exists and that some parts are workable; I just wish there were clearer pricing, a longer dispute window, and better verification so businesses don't shoulder all the risk. If you're curious, go in knowing it's a bit of a gamble — it might work for you, but be careful and watch the refund clock.

Got a lead from Bark that went bad — the guy took a chunk of money, did shoddy work and then vanished. Bark's customer service defended him and refused to remove the profile, which was disappointing. I've had worse with other sites, but this felt avoidable. Glad it didn't get even worse, but I won't be using Bark to find pros again.
Strimming services
I recently reached out to a service provider on Bark to help with some much-needed strimming work in my driveway. The growth was getting out of hand and I needed it taken care of quickly. To my surprise, the service provider got back to me the next day after I reached out on a Sunday evening. We talked about the price and they got to work right away. They finished the job quickly and the end result was amazing. I was really impressed with how hard they worked and how professional they were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient service on Bark. Overall, my experience with Bark was great and I would not hesitate to use their services again in the future.
5 purchased leads, only spoke to 1 customer, others unresponsive
I bought 5 leads online thinking it would help me get some new business, but it didn't work out as planned. Only one of the leads ended up working out, but that customer wasn't ready to buy yet. They were just looking into things for a project way in the future. The other 4 leads didn't even bother responding to me, no calls, texts, or emails. It was pretty frustrating and disappointing, felt like I wasted my money on those leads from the platform.
Dog grooming services
My experience with Bark was really good. I liked how easy the website was to use and all the different dog grooming services they had. The best part for me was how easy it was to book services. One thing they could work on is adding an option to show when a lead doesn't work out or the person doesn't respond. Right now, you only have 'No Answer,' 'Left Voicemail,' and 'We Talked,' which might not fit every situation. But overall, the service was great and I'm grateful for the help and leads Bark gave me.
