    That booking moment made it worth it

    there are way too many sketchy or repeat-looking requests, sometimes the same name and email pops up with variations in the details, and yeah, I’ve seen the same inquiry crop up multiple times in a day. I’ve requested credit returns a couple times and it helped, but I also get Bark can’t refund everything forever. Still, the wins — clients that actually book and show up — make me keep buying credits. My small ask would be stronger vetting or filtering for obvious bot/repeat posts, maybe a quick quality check on new inquiries. That’d save us time and credits. All in all I’m happy, a little cautious, but happy. I’ll keep using the service because the good leads pay off and they happen often enough. If you’re a vendor, be picky with credits, but don’t give up — you’ll get those good ones. Also, customer support has been helpful when I reached out, and that actually matters more than you'd think.

Sometimes alerts for big-ticket jobs showed up only after I'd burned through credits, which almost felt like a nudge to buy more. So yes, a handful of features were useful — the dashboard, the idea of weekly trial leads — but the core problem for me was lead quality versus the refund rules. After five months I hadn't managed to convert any of the leads into actual quotes or jobs, which strongly suggested the issue was with lead quality, not my ability to close sales. I appreciate that the platform exists and that some parts are workable; I just wish there were clearer pricing, a longer dispute window, and better verification so businesses don't shoulder all the risk. If you're curious, go in knowing it's a bit of a gamble — it might work for you, but be careful and watch the refund clock.

    pretty ordinary, but then it surprised me by running quieter than I thought, which was actually nice. A little fiddly to set up, instructions were brief, had to push one panel twice, but after a couple uses my doubts mostly faded. Not perfect, but it does what I needed.
