I signed up for the service about a year ago, mostly to try the project templates and videos. At first the site felt simple and kind of handy — clean layout, easy to find a tutorial, stuff downloaded pretty fast. I used it a few times, liked the ideas, and then stopped for a while. A friend mentioned sketchy billing, so I checked my accounts. I canceled the subscription the same day and removed the autopay from PayPal, got the confirmation email and thought that was that. Then, out of nowhere, they pulled a charge for over a hundred bucks a few days later. That part sucked. I’ve been back and forth with support and opened a PayPal dispute. It’s slow and frustrating. On the plus side, when I could log in the library and downloads worked fine. The content itself is useful, and the interface isn’t clunky. But the emails kept coming with big discount deals, which felt tone-deaf considering I was fighting an unauthorized charge. So yeah — not a total loss. If you just use the content and watch your billing closely it’s okay. If you want clean, worry-free payments, this was not that. I hope they fix their billing system soon, because otherwise the product is alright.
Billing left me hanging
I didn't expect to get so tangled up over a handful of classes — and yet here we are. I bought what was sold as "forever" access because I work weird hours and liked the idea of pulling a class up whenever I had time; simple plan, right? They sent one short email saying the site would be closed for a couple months for changes and that they'd reopen — fine, I can wait. But then no clear follow-up that things were shutting down, and meanwhile my monthly subscription kept being charged. I was on the quarterly plan where you can choose three classes to keep, and they shorted me on my last pick. So yeah, I feel cheated.
Sketchy billing, refund sort of came — be careful
their renewal process felt off and I wouldn’t blindly trust it. I grabbed the super-cheap annual plan last year because, why not — watched a couple videos, liked it for what it was, then kind of forgot about it. Fast forward a year, they say they sent a reminder email I didn’t see (could be true, could be my inbox), but I wasn’t worried since I used a reloadable card with zero balance on purpose. Then, to my surprise, they attempted a charge that went through despite insufficient funds — which, frankly, felt like magic I didn’t ask for. I canceled as soon as I noticed and after pestering them a bit I did get a refund for the subscription itself, which was actually nicer than I expected. The annoying bit: an extra ~$10 (about €8) for the cross-currency transaction remained on my account. My bank — yes, I work at a bank too, small world — said that kind of transaction shouldn’t have been authorized without proper approval. So far the company hasn’t explained how they pulled it off or refunded that extra fee. Service was slowish and a little evasive. If you try them, use a card you really don’t mind and check your statements on the renewal date. A weird mix of decent product, sloppy billing, and a customer support that eventually returns money but won’t answer how they charged you in the first place.
That morning when I knew it helped
set a reminder or turn it off ahead of time unless you’re fine paying full price. Overall I’m glad the lessons did what I needed, even if the billing and support need work.
Subscription closure email
I got an email back in May from the company saying they were shutting down. Since then, I haven't heard anything else about the classes I bought and now I can't even access them. It's really frustrating and disappointing to be left hanging like this after putting money into their services. They really should be doing better with their customer support.
Online crafting classes
The platform is supposed to have a lot of features, but a bunch of them just don't work right. Like, the search in the Wishlist is a total mess, which makes it super hard to find the classes or projects you're looking for. Sometimes the comments people leave on classes don't even make sense or have anything to do with what the class is about, so it's hard to get real feedback. And trying to figure out how the subscription classes and the ones you've bought connect is just confusing and makes things way more complicated than they need to be. It's really disappointing to see a website that could be awesome turn into a big jumbled mess because the developers don't seem to get what users actually want. Plus, a lot of the instructors teaching classes aren't very experienced, so the lessons aren't as good as they used to be on Craftsy. It's sad to see such a helpful resource go downhill like this.
Online crafting classes transition
I just bought a bunch of online crafting classes that used to be on Bluprint but changed back to their original name. Sadly, I've been having a lot of trouble getting into my classes. I tried reaching out to customer service through email multiple times, but haven't heard back at all. It's making me anxious that I might not be able to get into the classes I spent money on. The fact that the company isn't communicating or providing any support is really upsetting and frustrating, especially since I put in a lot of money for these classes.
My recent purchase
I’m so bummed that my favorite crafting website is closing. I had such a blast taking classes with awesome teachers, even though it just won’t be the same without them. The subscriptions were a steal, and I really hope they figure out a way to keep all those awesome classes available.
I always had great experiences with their customer service, not sure why some people had issues. Maybe just a stroke of bad luck for them?
When it comes to sewing, quilting, and knitting, this site was top-notch. Can’t speak for other crafts since I didn’t try them, but I had a blast and learned a ton.
I wish they could move the classes to YouTube like Midnight Quilter. I gained so much knowledge from Craftsy and Bluprint, and I was really looking forward to learning more. Such a bummer that they’re closing down.
Feeling totally devastated,

USAOnline crafting courses and tools
Craftsy is my favorite place for online crafting classes and tools. I really enjoy using their site to pick up new skills or just refresh on the basics. They have a wide selection of classes to choose from, so I always come across something exciting to dive into. Not only do they have classes, but they also sell a bunch of tools and supplies that make crafting a breeze. The prices are fair and the shipping is super fast, which is a big win for me. Being able to shop online with ease, Craftsy has become my go-to spot for all things crafting.
Quilting, garment construction, cooking classes
Craftsy really has some amazing instructors who have really helped me step up my game in quilting, making clothes, and cooking. I've bought a bunch of classes on there and they've all been super useful in boosting my skills. Being able to watch the classes whenever I want with Craftsy Unlimited has been a total game-changer for me. I never thought I could get the hang of free motion quilting, but thanks to Craftsy, I'm feeling much more confident now. It's reignited my love for making clothes and has even helped me get better in the kitchen. Overall, I'm a big fan of Craftsy because they offer a wide range of classes and the instructors are top-notch.
Recent experience on the website
I was really happy with my recent experience on the website - I could log in easily, check my old orders, and move around the new site without any trouble. But, all that excitement turned into frustration when my login wouldn't work for the past few days. I tried to reset my password a bunch of times, but no luck - I can't get into my account. This quick switch-up has definitely left me feeling let down and inconvenienced. I'm hoping the company can fix this problem soon so I can trust their services again.
Online courses purchase
I recently bought some online classes from this platform and had a big problem. After spending a lot of money on these classes, I got locked out of my account. I tried to get help from customer service, but they didn't understand and weren't helpful. I explained that I couldn't access the email linked to my account anymore, but they kept asking for proof of purchase and password changes that I couldn't do. This whole thing made me frustrated and disappointed because I put time and money into these classes and couldn't even use them. I recommend that others avoid this platform and find online classes somewhere else.
Crochet kit
The crochet kit was awesome and had everything I needed to make some cool projects. The instructions were easy to follow, and I couldn't wait to start my first project. But, I ran into some issues with the app that came with the kit - it kept crashing and was frustrating to use. On top of that, a teacher friend told me that they don't treat teachers well. Teachers don't make much money, and after the first year, they don't even talk to their students. It's disappointing to hear that teachers are underpaid and students aren't a top priority. I hope things are better now, but I have my doubts.
Online crafting classes
I can't believe how rude Bluprint was to all of us Craftsy customers! I really enjoy taking crafting classes online, but now I'm hesitant to make any purchases in case they vanish like Bluprint did. It's so frustrating! Craftsy used to be fantastic, and Bluprint totally messed it up. Why can't they just stick to their word? Grrr!
Online craft classes
Craftsy messed up big time with my recent experience. I had some problems with them earlier this year, but I thought I'd give them another shot. They ended up taking money out of my account even after we agreed they would cancel and refund my purchase. The refund got canceled on my PayPal account really fast, and to top it off, Craftsy hasn't answered any of my emails about the problem. And to make things even worse, they haven't added any new classes to their platform, so it feels like my money went down the drain.
Online learning platform review
Craftsy is a great online learning platform that offers a wide range of classes on different subjects. It's easy to use and suits different learning styles, so it's good for all kinds of learners. On top of classes, Craftsy also has patterns and designs from independent designers, which adds value to what you're learning. One thing they could improve on is having more supplies available for the classes. They do provide some materials and you can buy some things, but having a better supply chain would make the whole experience even better. Despite this small issue, Craftsy is still a fantastic choice for anyone wanting to improve their skills and knowledge through online learning.
Online class purchase of 104 forever classes
I've been a loyal customer of Craftsy for a while now and always loved how many classes they offer and how great their customer service used to be. But lately, I've been pretty disappointed. It seems like their customer service isn't as good as it used to be and I haven't heard back from them about my 104 classes. It's frustrating not knowing if my video demos are safe. The email I got today didn't give me much confidence about the future of the classes I spent so much on.
Class purchases affected by website changes
I recently bought some classes from a crafting website that went through a bunch of changes. Originally it was Craftsy, then it became Bluprint, and now it's back to Craftsy again. The problem is that the classes I bought to have access to forever are now gone, and I have to pay a monthly fee to maybe get access to them again. It's really frustrating to see that the classes I bought are now behind a paywall, making me pay again for something I already own. I'm thinking about talking to a lawyer about this.
Quilting and watercolor classes
Craftsy is a great place to learn new crafts like quilting and watercolor. The classes are taught by skilled instructors who really care about sharing their knowledge. I like that I can access the classes whenever I want, so I can learn at my own speed. The instructors are friendly and make learning fun. I definitely suggest Craftsy to anyone who wants to learn something new or improve their craft skills.
Knitting tutorial purchase
As a Craftsy customer, I recently bought a knitting tutorial on there. Gotta say, it was a good experience overall and I was happy with how well the tutorial was done. The instructors really knew their stuff and explained things in a way that made it easy for me to pick up new techniques. There were a few times when the instructors were slow to respond, but overall, the comments section was useful and got me engaged. I like that Craftsy keeps us in the loop with updates on their homepage.
