they said a 6% fee was nonnegotiable, which PayPal later told me was wrong. Annoying, but PayPal sorted the refund so end result wasn’t terrible. So yeah, the product itself is great for my day-to-day, just be ready to push back if you need support or a refund.
Too technical for casual users
I thought I'd play with the stars. Ended up frustrated. Spent days on manuals and videos and still felt stuck. Menus are confusing. Learning curve is steep. There are too many pre-shot adjustments. It's clearly powerful. Not for casual users like me. I finally returned it. Customer service was excellent, quick and polite, which I appreciated. If you're experienced, go for it. If you're new, I wish they'd add a simpler setup or starter guide.
Finally got my money back, but what a mess
I finally got a full refund, but it was a hassle and could've been avoided. Ordered something that was supposed to ship early December, then they pushed it to January—so I canceled. Emails crawled along, really slow, and then they tried to keep 4% for a "fee" even though the item never left their warehouse. I mentioned UK distance selling rules (they'd told me it ships from the UK), threatened a chargeback, and only after that they refunded everything. Also their customer rep sounded like they were juggling three chats, which explains some delay, I guess. Bit of a relief, honestly, but annoying. Tip: keep screenshots and push back if they try fees on canceled orders. I’m grateful it worked out, just don't expect smooth sailing.
