Dead-server drift April 10, 2026

the service works when it works, but support basically left me holding a dead server. I’ve spent as much time in the past few days trying to get a zombie Dune Awakening server to actually restart as I did playing the game — and that’s just, well, annoying. I opened support tickets, got the usual sympathetic replies ("I hear you, sorry, I told someone") and then nothing useful; sometimes my follow-ups were met by the ticket being closed with no explanation. Meanwhile my subscription keeps charging and the server stays unusable. I’ve used other hosts before and at least they gave a timeline or proper follow-up, so this felt sloppy by comparison. To be fair, when the server does come back it runs fine and the game itself is fun, so I’m glad it wasn’t the game that was broken — more the ops side. I’m keeping the account because it’s playable sometimes, but I’d expect clearer communication and actual fixes, not closed tickets and radio silence.
