Opened it by accident when my mom checked one of the three boxes for my son's Christmas kit. It's a pink, slightly grainy sand that feels almost like dry sugar; pour a splash of water on it and the drops bead up and run off, leaving the sand basically unchanged. The little experiments work, that's the odd part, but the packaging didn't mention PFAS or any environmental concerns so that sat with me weirdly. I called customer support to return all three kits; they said returns weren't accepted and promised a callback that never came. I told a friend who teaches science and she advised caution. So it does what it claims, but questionable materials and lousy after-sale help. I'm unsure about keeping them.
