they wiped my server and didn’t warn me, so no, not reliable. I’d actually signed up because a friend recommended Godlike.host and I even tipped a couple guildmates to try it — was kind of excited about switching. Jumping back in the story, I noticed right away that latency was higher than my old hosts and chunks took forever to render, which was annoying but tolerable at first. Prices were noticeably steeper too, and every month I got several emails that required me to manually approve charges. That manual step mattered: I closed an old credit card and missed one invoice, didn’t see the follow-up, and then later found the whole server gone. Support’s answer was blunt — they “deleted my server” after 15 days of unpaid invoices and apparently there were no backups on their end. They also claim they sent notices, but I got nothing that warned of deletion. Players on the server blamed me, understandably. So yeah, usable in some ways but risky — if you can’t guarantee payment checks, don’t use them for long-running stuff. I’d tell others what happened before they commit.
Small win after a rocky start
set up was clunky for me at first, but customer support stayed with me until my site was live. I use the server for a personal blog and a few backups, and latency has been fine for daily use, no big delays when I post or upload photos. What stood out was the support team — actually helpful and patient, which made a difference. I’m relieved it worked out and honestly grateful. Not perfect, but good enough for my day-to-day needs. Would recommend if you want solid basic hosting and people who’ll help you through the bumps.
That tiny relief (then back to square one)
I paid for a 30GB RAM upgrade in mid-January because the box was stuck at 8GB, couldn’t handle our player load and kept dropping people. I needed it bad — partly because of persistent lag and partly because I’d already wasted time trying other fixes. Support said upgrades usually apply in minutes; mine stayed at 8GB. Backups came later, that was the moment I thought maybe this will be okay… then reality nudged me. After that small win the rest was a mess: multiple reps, repeating the same details, vague answers about “game optimization” that didn’t explain why the paid RAM upgrade wasn’t actually applied. They promised a few days’ compensation for the delay and an ETA, but the subscription days never showed up. Communication dried up — my last reply was days ago and then silence. Emotionally I went from “relieved” to “irritated” to “just tired” — human reaction, right? What I wanted was simple: either flip the 30GB switch now or refund me and add the promised extras for the downtime. Small things like actually owning the ticket and following through would’ve mattered a lot. So yeah, that backup moment made me think they cared — briefly — but that feeling didn’t last. If they fix it and honor what they promised, I’ll update this, but for now I can’t recommend trusting them to handle a paid upgrade without follow-up.
Not perfect, but it delivers
response could be faster and interface has quirks, but overall I'm glad it worked out — would use again. Compared to others, that's worth it for me, even with little annoyances.
Half-baked hosting, decent people
with just two players we get occasional lag, so I doubt the 'handles 30 players' claim. My takeaway: good human support, shaky infrastructure. Advice: expect delays and have patience; don't rent this if you need something bulletproof. Slightly bummed, but not surprised.
