Cruise and cream tea vouchers
My experience with LivingSocial was really disappointing. I bought vouchers for a cruise and cream tea in Stratford upon Avon as a present for my mom. But when I tried to book it weeks ahead, the vendor wouldn't pick up my calls or respond to my messages. When the voucher expired, I contacted LivingSocial for help, but they just told me I should have reached out earlier. The lack of communication and support from both the vendor and LivingSocial was really frustrating. I won't be using their services again.
Sam's Club membership
I just bought a Sam's Club membership from LivingSocial, but had a rough time trying to redeem it. The website's refund policy seemed old-fashioned and more for the company's benefit than mine. When I tried to use my voucher, I accidentally pressed the redeem button because the instructions weren't clear. It seemed like they were making it hard on purpose, just to make more money. I suggest being careful when using this site for deals, it might not be worth the trouble. And their customer service didn't really help much, which just added to my irritation.
Online shopping experience
My experience shopping online with this company was so disappointing. The stuff I got wasn't even what they said it was gonna be, and when I tried to get my money back, they totally ghosted me. The shipping costs were outrageous, and it took forever for my stuff to show up. Plus, I kept getting bombarded with emails that I couldn't even unsubscribe from, and their customer service was a joke. All in all, it was super frustrating and just not a good time.
Lack of grace period for redeeming coupon
I had some trouble with that coupon because there was no grace period for using it. See, I had this unexpected emergency come up and couldn't make it in time to redeem it. So, I called customer service for some help, but their response didn't really do much for me. I think it would be a good idea for businesses to offer a grace period for cases like mine, 'cause you never know when a sudden emergency might pop up for a customer.
email overload
This annoying company just won't quit with all the junk they keep sending to my email every single day. I keep trying to make it stop but it's like they just don't get the message. They seriously need to cool it with all the spam!
Discount voucher purchase
I had a really bad time with my recent purchase of a discount voucher from LivingSocial. Their customer service was no help at all, just giving me the same generic answers no matter what I said. And it seems like LivingSocial doesn't even check out the businesses they team up with, so when things go south, there's no one to hold accountable. This lackadaisical attitude really reflects badly on LivingSocial. Bottom line, I feel like I got scammed with their terrible customer service and shady ways, and it makes me wonder how they're still around. I wouldn't recommend using them again.
Bamboo sheet set purchase
I just bought some sheets that were supposed to be made from bamboo, but when they showed up, turns out they were mostly polyester - definitely not what I wanted. I tried to return them right away, but no dice - the company has a super strict no refund policy. I've been trying to contact their customer service team over and over, but still no luck getting this sorted out. It's really frustrating to see a company lying about their products and then not willing to fix things for their customers.
Online purchase of an item
My recent experience buying stuff online from LivingSocial was a total letdown. I tried to cancel something before it got shipped out, but it still ended up coming my way. I tried to fix things by talking to the vendor and LivingSocial, but no luck. The communication and customer service from LivingSocial really bummed me out. On the flip side, I've had great experiences with other online sites like Groupon, Restaurant.com, and eBay where they really care about making customers happy. Based on how awful things went with LivingSocial, I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.
Promotion Dispute
I've been dealing with a problem about a promotion on this platform. It's been three months now, and I still haven't heard back on how they're gonna fix it. The customer service has been pretty bad, and it seems like nobody's talking to each other between the UK and US offices. Waiting for my payment has been super frustrating and disappointing.
