Online purchase delay
My recent experience buying stuff from this company online has been a real disappointment. I placed an order for a bunch of items that cost a decent amount on December 3rd, hoping they'd get here in time for Christmas. But it's been weeks since I ordered, and I still haven't gotten anything. They haven't been good about letting me know what's going on with my order, which is really frustrating. I've tried reaching out to customer service a bunch of times, but the hold times on the phone are way too long, and I can't find an email address to ask about my order. The only communication I got was a short reply on Facebook messenger that didn't help at all. I don't recommend using this company because they're not good at keeping you updated on your order and aren't very reliable.
Discounted spa package
This company's customer service and supplier communication really suck. So, I bought a spa deal on LivingSocial, but when I tried to book it, I ran into problems. I reached out to customer service for help, but all they gave me was a generic response saying they couldn't do anything until a week after I complained. And to top it off, the supplier they used, Love Bebe Shop, was impossible to get a hold of by phone. I was stuck, unable to fix the mess. I seriously suggest you steer clear of LivingSocial and just unsubscribe from their stuff altogether.
Christmas presents - beats earbuds and necklace
I am so upset with how things went down with this company. I ordered some beats earbuds and a necklace for my daughter's Christmas gifts back in early December, and here we are almost at the end of January with nothing to show. What's even worse is that they haven't even bothered to keep me in the loop. No dispatch email, no updates - nothing. I've tried to get in touch with customer service a bunch of times, but no luck. It's really sad to think that I might not even get the stuff I ordered, especially since it was supposed to be something special for my kid. This kind of service is just not cool, and I hope others stay away from this company. It's a bummer and totally unprofessional.
Limo gift certificate
I am so furious with them! I was really looking forward to a wine tasting limo tour but it turned out to be a complete disaster. At the last minute, the company canceled on me and I was stuck with a massive hotel bill. LivingSocial was no help at all and their customer service was just terrible. Such a waste of money. I'll never do business with them again.
Discount voucher purchase
In my recent experience with buying a discount voucher on LivingSocial, I was really let down by what happened. Even though they said I'd get a discount, I wound up having to pay the whole price for the service. When I asked for a refund from customer service, they just made excuses and said they only give refunds in "deal bucks," even though I paid with my credit card. Their refund rules not being clear or fair made me feel pretty upset and like I was being treated unfairly as a customer. It's frustrating to see a company care more about their own rules than making sure customers are happy and treated right.
House powerwash voucher purchase
I bought a voucher to get my house powerwashed back in March 2020 and set up an appointment for May 5th. The problem was, the guy who was supposed to do it never showed up, even after confirming the appointment the day before. I tried to reschedule a bunch of times, but he kept flaking and wouldn't answer my calls or texts. One time, he said he'd come on May 18th, but then he didn't show up at all, even though the weather report said it was gonna rain. I asked for a refund from the website, but it's been a pain trying to get it sorted out.
Refused deal
I bought something from this merchant and then they totally backed out of the deal, making some lame excuse on voicemail. So I contacted LivingSocial, and they tried to make it right by giving me these "deal bucks". However, when I couldn't find anything else I wanted to purchase with them, the "deal bucks" just disappeared and LivingSocial didn't do anything to fix the situation.
Whisky tasting set
The whisky tasting set I ordered was a total letdown. Instead of the 5 mini bottles I was expecting, I got 5 tiny test-tubes that I'm guessing were filled with whisky. LivingSocial really hyped up this product, but it fell way short of what was promised. They didn't even own up to their misleading ads. I've been burned by these so-called "deals" before, and this just confirms that I should steer clear of them in the future. I won't be buying from LivingSocial ever again.
Multiple product purchase
I recently bought a bunch of stuff from this company and man, let me tell you, I was seriously let down by their delivery service. The crazy thing is, they gave me different tracking numbers for each item, but none of them actually showed up at my door. I've been home all day 'cause of this pandemic, and I can guarantee you, no packages were just left on my front steps like the tracking said. It's so annoying and honestly kind of unacceptable, especially when other delivery companies have had no trouble getting stuff to me.
Clothing purchase for boyfriend
I bought a sweater for my boyfriend as a little gift for Christmas on December 7th, but it didn't show up until January 12th. The sweater was not great quality and it made me question if it was really a branded item. I tried to contact customer service by phone or email, but had no luck getting a hold of them.
Customer service communication
I was so let down by the customer service at LivingSocial. I couldn't even reach out to them when I needed help with something I bought. I tried calling, chatting, and even sent an email as a last resort. It took a whole day just to get a basic response that didn't even answer my question. It was really annoying and felt like they didn't care about helping me out.
Cruise and cream tea vouchers
My experience with LivingSocial was really disappointing. I bought vouchers for a cruise and cream tea in Stratford upon Avon as a present for my mom. But when I tried to book it weeks ahead, the vendor wouldn't pick up my calls or respond to my messages. When the voucher expired, I contacted LivingSocial for help, but they just told me I should have reached out earlier. The lack of communication and support from both the vendor and LivingSocial was really frustrating. I won't be using their services again.
Sam's Club membership
I just bought a Sam's Club membership from LivingSocial, but had a rough time trying to redeem it. The website's refund policy seemed old-fashioned and more for the company's benefit than mine. When I tried to use my voucher, I accidentally pressed the redeem button because the instructions weren't clear. It seemed like they were making it hard on purpose, just to make more money. I suggest being careful when using this site for deals, it might not be worth the trouble. And their customer service didn't really help much, which just added to my irritation.
Online shopping experience
My experience shopping online with this company was so disappointing. The stuff I got wasn't even what they said it was gonna be, and when I tried to get my money back, they totally ghosted me. The shipping costs were outrageous, and it took forever for my stuff to show up. Plus, I kept getting bombarded with emails that I couldn't even unsubscribe from, and their customer service was a joke. All in all, it was super frustrating and just not a good time.
Lack of grace period for redeeming coupon
I had some trouble with that coupon because there was no grace period for using it. See, I had this unexpected emergency come up and couldn't make it in time to redeem it. So, I called customer service for some help, but their response didn't really do much for me. I think it would be a good idea for businesses to offer a grace period for cases like mine, 'cause you never know when a sudden emergency might pop up for a customer.
email overload
This annoying company just won't quit with all the junk they keep sending to my email every single day. I keep trying to make it stop but it's like they just don't get the message. They seriously need to cool it with all the spam!
Discount voucher purchase
I had a really bad time with my recent purchase of a discount voucher from LivingSocial. Their customer service was no help at all, just giving me the same generic answers no matter what I said. And it seems like LivingSocial doesn't even check out the businesses they team up with, so when things go south, there's no one to hold accountable. This lackadaisical attitude really reflects badly on LivingSocial. Bottom line, I feel like I got scammed with their terrible customer service and shady ways, and it makes me wonder how they're still around. I wouldn't recommend using them again.
Bamboo sheet set purchase
I just bought some sheets that were supposed to be made from bamboo, but when they showed up, turns out they were mostly polyester - definitely not what I wanted. I tried to return them right away, but no dice - the company has a super strict no refund policy. I've been trying to contact their customer service team over and over, but still no luck getting this sorted out. It's really frustrating to see a company lying about their products and then not willing to fix things for their customers.
Online purchase of an item
My recent experience buying stuff online from LivingSocial was a total letdown. I tried to cancel something before it got shipped out, but it still ended up coming my way. I tried to fix things by talking to the vendor and LivingSocial, but no luck. The communication and customer service from LivingSocial really bummed me out. On the flip side, I've had great experiences with other online sites like Groupon, Restaurant.com, and eBay where they really care about making customers happy. Based on how awful things went with LivingSocial, I wouldn't suggest them to anyone.
Promotion Dispute
I've been dealing with a problem about a promotion on this platform. It's been three months now, and I still haven't heard back on how they're gonna fix it. The customer service has been pretty bad, and it seems like nobody's talking to each other between the UK and US offices. Waiting for my payment has been super frustrating and disappointing.
