Recent tire purchase
I bought some tires from this company recently and man, let me tell you, their customer service is a major letdown. When I realized my order was messed up in the confirmation email, I tried to fix it but they told me it was already on its way to being shipped out. They didn't even want to help me fix the mistake, just wanted me to cough up the cash to return the tires when they got to me. This isn't the first time they've pulled this sneaky move, they've done it to our Veterans Outreach program more than once. I ain't dealing with them again, I'll go somewhere else even if it means paying a little bit more for better service.
OEM motorcycle parts purchase
As a MotoSport customer, I gotta say their website is super handy for getting those hard-to-find OEM parts for my older European off-road bikes, like my KTM and Husqvarna. Restoring these bikes is no joke, but thanks to MotoSport's easy-to-use search feature, I can just punch in the part numbers and bam, there's the exact components I need. The prices are fair, plus the free shipping for orders over $50 is a nice touch that helps me save some cash. Overall, I'm really thankful for the convenience and top-notch service MotoSport offers - it's my first choice for motorcycle parts, no doubt.
Part mix-up
So, I ordered these parts but turns out they don't actually have 'em. They gave me choices: wait, swap, or cancel. I went with cancel and shot 'em three emails making it crystal clear. But did they bother to confirm? Nope! They went ahead and sent the parts anyways. What a crummy way to treat a customer! I'm definitely not impressed.
Carb Jet purchase
I just bought a Carb Jet from this company and let me tell you, I am super disappointed with how things went down. I shelled out extra for 2-day shipping, but it's been a whole week and my package is M.I.A. To top it off, the customer service was just plain awful. They wouldn't give me a refund or send another item, so I had to drop more cash to finally get what I wanted in the first place. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company. Stick with trusted choices like Amazon or Ebay.
Undersized product, misrepresentation, lack of refund
I bought something from this company not too long ago and man, was I let down. The product I got was labeled as my size but when it arrived, it was way smaller than it should have been. I felt like I got jipped, y'know? And to top it all off, when I tried to get a refund, they shut me down. It's made me wonder if this company is as honest as they claim to be. I definitely won't be shopping with them again. Just a heads up for anyone thinking about giving them a try - watch out for their sketchy service.
Wrong sizes on everything
I was super pumped about the gear I ordered from MotoSport, but when it came, none of the sizes fit right. And then I tried to return or exchange them, but they shut me down! Definitely not cool.
Incorrect item sent
They sent me the wrong item, so I had to go through the hassle of printing a return label, taking the package to UPS, and waiting for the right one to be sent. It felt like I had to fix their mistake, and I ended up waiting an extra month for my product because of it. They didn't even offer anything to make up for the trouble. I won't be shopping from them again.
Racing Gear
I've been a customer of this company for years, but I've noticed a drop in their service quality in 2020. The customer service has let me down, with problems still not resolved after several attempts to get help. The shipping times have gotten longer, making me wait longer for my orders. On top of that, they don't seem willing to listen to feedback since customers can't leave reviews to address any issues they've faced. Overall, I'm disappointed with the changes I've seen lately and thinking about checking out other options for my racing gear.
Ordered parts for my dirt bike
Man, let me tell you about Jacob P. from the parts department - that guy is a real MVP! He totally went the extra mile to hook me up with some parts that other places wouldn't even consider shipping to Hawaii. Not only that, he took the time to find a super detailed parts list for my bottom end gasket kit. Jacob P. is amazing, he really deserves a promotion to Hawaii service rep. Big shoutout and thank you to Jacob P.!
Defective oil pump
I bought an oil pump from this company back in July 2021, but it crapped out on me just a few months later in October. The pump was supposed to be the real deal, straight from the manufacturer, so you can imagine my disappointment when I reached out to customer service for a replacement and got shot down. Apparently, they won't hook me up because I didn't have the part installed by a certified dealership, which frustrates the heck out of me. They never mentioned that when I made the purchase, so now I'm questioning what kind of game they're playing and who they're really selling these parts to if they won't stand behind their own stuff.
Tourmaster Ridgecrest Gear
I got this really awesome motorcycle gear set last year and it was perfect when I went on a trip to Patagonia. But you won't believe what happened - the belt strap just snapped in half. So I was like, "It's all good, it's under warranty." But then Tourmaster and Motorsport were all like, "Nah, go get it fixed by a Cleaner." Like seriously, what's the deal with having a warranty if they won't even lend a hand? Man, that's really disappointing.
Motorcycle parts purchase
I was so frustrated with MotoSport because they totally tricked me about when my order was supposed to ship. They said one date for shipping and another for when it would arrive, but turns out most of my stuff won't be here for another whole month! I mean, seriously, how does that even happen? Their excuse was just "oh sorry, it's just an estimate," but that's not good enough for me. I'm definitely not gonna do business with them again, and I suggest you avoid them too.
Motorcycle parts
My experience with motorcycle parts from this company was a letdown. Their website claimed items were "IN STOCK SHIPS TOMORROW" but most of the time, the items weren't even in stock and definitely didn't ship the next day. On top of that, if you leave a negative review, they'll just delete it like your opinion doesn't count, and that just seems shady and dishonest to me.
Dirt bike parts
Man, I was so excited when I ordered those parts for my dirt bike. They told me it would come fast, but then I got an email saying they're backordered! Seriously? My friends have had the same issues. I'd rather use my allowance at a place that actually values customers and is honest about what's in stock.
Ordered OEM parts online
I ordered some OEM parts online, but darn UPS never came through with the delivery. I tried to sort it out with UPS, but they couldn't find the package and said it was on the shipper to fix it. When I contacted MotoSport customer service, they got back to me at first but then ghosted me. Thankfully, I stumbled upon another site, KTM World, where I could get most of the missing parts with top-notch customer service. If you're in need of OEM parts, I'd suggest skipping MotoSport and heading straight to KTM World for better deals and service.
Dirt bike boots, disappointing customer service
I've been really into working on, fixing, and selling dirt bikes for about a year now. So, I thought it'd be a great idea to get my son a new pair of dirt bike boots for Christmas. Unfortunately, in February, he accidentally hit the footpeg while trying to kickstart his bike and ended up with a hole in his brand-new boots. I reached out to the store's customer service team hoping they could help me out, being a loyal customer and all. But, to my surprise, they said it wasn't covered by the warranty and couldn't do anything for me. It was pretty disappointing and left me feeling let down. It's tough to spend your hard-earned cash at a store and then get no support when you really need it. So, I guess next time, I'll have to think twice before dropping big bucks on expensive gear, since it seems like they don't really have your back when things go wrong.
Skid plate for mx bike
Motosport ships really fast and their customer service is top-notch. I'm a big fan of their FastCash system - it hooked me up with a skid plate for my mx bike at no cost. They've definitely got me as a regular customer with their awesome service and sweet freebies. Plus, the other day I snagged a free t-shirt from a Motosport rep at my local mx track - totally unexpected and totally cool. I highly recommend checking them out!
Broken part included in the box
My part came all broken and wasn't even in the box! I tried to return it for an exchange but no one got back to me. What a bummer, right?
Gear set and boots
I had a really bad time dealing with a customer service person at this company. I was trying to get a price match on a few things, but ended up with my order costing over $160. When I reached out to customer service for some answers, the person I talked to was extremely rude and not helpful at all. They just told me to call back when the first person I talked to was back at work, without giving me any more help or reasons why. The way they treated me was not okay, and it really left me feeling upset.
