Paperwork Cut Lowered Offer
not worth it — I got less than other buyers. They quoted $3,500 then deducted $300 for paperwork, so net was lower. I drove it to two new-car dealerships afterward and both paid more; one was about $700 higher. FYI dealers sometimes pay cash if you aren't buying, and a trade-in effectively gets you roughly 6% extra because you save sales tax on the trade amount. Kind of annoying, honestly.

They apologized a bit, not a lot, and moved things along. I stayed skeptical through most of it, but in the end the paperwork was completed and the payment came through as promised. It felt disorganized and amateurish at times. Still, if you’re patient and keep copies of all emails, you can get what was offered. Misleading online figure
Mo, the staff member, was super helpful and gave me his honest opinion, which I really liked. But, the estimate we got online wasn't on the money compared to the final offer we got. We ended up losing out on about $1,500 from what we thought we'd be getting, which was a bummer. On top of that, the website didn't clearly say there was a £99.99 admin fee, so we were surprised when it came out of our final payout. It would have been way better if all the fees and deductions were upfront from the get-go before we agreed to sell.
