Deleting my account and data January 14, 2024

Okay, so I was trying to delete my account, you know? And I had to jump through all these hoops - sending an email, filling out a form, verifying my email AGAIN, and then signing up to see when they'll delete my info. But get this, turns out they're gonna hold onto my data for a whole year? Seems a little fishy, like why they gotta keep it for so long? I don't know how I feel about this, it all seems a little sketchy.
