After using it for a few months I can say it's better than it used to be — the company did push a few updates that actually help — but it’s not polished, and a few core workflows are still awkward enough to slow me down. For routine tasks it works: open a document, read, add a quick note, save — fine. But the editing feels clunky in ways that surprised me, like things you assume will be basic (moving text precisely, getting back into a text box you added) are annoying hurdles. I’ve had occasions where I bumped a line while trying to adjust something and the layout scrambled; fixing that required starting over more than once, which got old fast. On the plus side, their support team responded when I reported issues — sometimes helpful, sometimes they asked for steps I already tried — and a couple of bugs I flagged were addressed in later updates. That improved my confidence, so I began using it more. Still, there are missing conveniences I miss from other apps I use: better undo behavior, smoother keyboard editing, and reliable export that keeps text editable instead of turning it into an image. If you’ve had bad experiences with other PDF tools, this won't feel like a miracle fix; it’s more like a competent option that still needs work. For everyday reading and light annotation it’s perfectly fine and even pleasant; for heavier editing or professional layout tweaks, be ready for friction. All told, I’m mildly optimistic — they’re moving things in the right direction — but I’m not ready to give a glowing recommendation. It’s useful, not flawless, and whether it’s worth the price depends on how much patience you have for quirks.
