I remember halfway through I relaxed — that’s when I knew it was worth it. Miguel goes slow, repeats things when needed, and checks you often. Kind of dry at times, but clear. If you want solid SAT scores, I'd recommend him; expect to pay a bit.
Unexpectedly Solid Tutor
sometimes he moved fast, but overall pretty happy.
Low-key solid prep
worth the time. I first saw this instructor listed on a college prep subreddit and then told my roommate to try it. Class is straightforward — teacher keeps you engaged, gives practical SAT strategies, doesn't make you feel dumb for guessing, and even shared a useful link with extra practice, which was a pleasant surprise.
Worth the time and money
definitely worth it — gave my daughter the structure she needed. We signed up for the Pre‑SAT and it quickly highlighted weak spots instead of guessing at them, so she had real targets for studying. It bought us breathing room to plan her SAT prep without scrambling. We’d tried a cheaper program before that felt like busywork, so this felt more focused. The platform is straightforward, the feedback was practical, and the pace worked for her. I told family and other parents to check it out.
Unexpectedly reliable SAT help
I remember sitting at the kitchen table, late, feeling a little lost about how to help my kid — we’d tried a local tutor who gave up after two sessions, so PrepScholar was a last-ditch, kind of skeptical choice. Turns out it actually worked. Setup was straightforward, the diagnostic test was neat and, yes, it built a study plan that felt tailored. The lessons are clear and not fluffy, practice questions feel like the real thing, and the official tests you can download were a relief. Delivery of materials and login access was instant, and when I emailed support with a billing question they replied fast and were helpful — real people. I started out doubtful, but the mix of structure and quick customer service made this worth it. Saved us stress during college application season, honestly.
Solid program, tricky to climb if you're already up there
short modules, drills, and those explanations that make you go, oh right. That said, I didn't see a big jump from my already-decent score; improvements were smaller and felt harder to earn. Also had to chase them about the score guarantee, but after I complained they reached out and sorted things out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. Bottom line: great for people coming from a lower baseline — you'll probably notice real gains — but if you're already scoring high, temper expectations.
Skeptical, then certain
I didn't expect much at first — had tried a few programs and was, well, cautious. But the moment one student jumped 150 points and actually—no, really smiled at the score report, I knew. It's practical, structured, and the bootcamp added real prep. Not flashy, but it works, really.
Worth the time
I'm really glad I signed up; worth it. The instructors are super friendly and actually helpful. Their tips made the writing and English parts way clearer, and math sessions were calm — they walk you through each problem, step by step, patient, patient. I can't wait to see my SAT score. If you're on the fence, go for it.
Teaching that actually clicks
ask for slightly faster pace if you're advanced — she's helpful.
SAT study guide
Prep Scholar has this whole package for studying for the SAT that really dives into all the stuff you'll see on the test - Math, Reading, and Writing. They give you some solid advice to help you get a good score. But to be honest, I found that the quizzes had way too much of the same questions over and over. It was like I was going in circles, not really picking up anything new or getting better at all.
SAT Prep Resource
I never would've thought that an online resource could really help me improve my SAT score, but PrepScholar totally did! I took my SAT on December 3rd, 2022, and thanks to their awesome weekly lessons, detailed feedback, and tough practice questions, I was able to boost my skills big time. The reading section used to be my downfall, but with PrepScholar's help, I was able to ace it and score a solid 1510. I highly recommend PrepScholar to anyone who wants to prep for the SAT online. It's totally worth it.
SAT Prep
I really appreciated how they encouraged me and personalized my experience in this online SAT prep course. The weekly reminders and them pointing out my weaknesses really helped me reach my goals. I found it super beneficial how they focused on the basics before moving on - it made the whole learning process a lot easier for me.
Essay help from Claire
Claire was such a big help with my son's essay - it came out great! Thanks to her guidance, my son got accepted into 10 different universities. We are thrilled with PrepScholar and would definitely suggest Claire to anyone looking for essay help.
College admissions coaching
The coach was really devoted and supportive. They were always patient, knowledgeable, and respectful. They listened well, kept us on track with deadlines, and pushed us to do our best. Their work went above and beyond what I expected and I would definitely recommend them for help with college admissions.
College application essay assistance
I was lucky enough to work with this really knowledgeable and skilled consultant who helped my daughter out with her college application essays. Claire was amazing - so professional, kept things chill, and walked us through everything super patiently. She was on top of everything, super nice to work with, and really knew her stuff when it came to the whole admissions process. My daughter felt super comfortable and appreciated by Claire, which made a huge difference in her whole experience. I also found Claire to be really easy to talk to and she was always down to chat about any questions or worries I had about the admissions stuff. She even gave us some pointers on dealing with the Wait List and picking between acceptance offers. Claire's knowledge and support were just what my daughter needed to get through all the tough stuff. Because of her help, my daughter is now doing great in college.
Online video lessons for my son
My kid really enjoys the video lessons! They're super focused and explained well, and the practice questions help a lot. After just one practice test, his score went way up from the diagnostic. He's been studying hard with the program, about 6 hours a week, and it's really showing results.
SAT Prep improvement
The SAT Prep program we used really helped our son get ready for the PSAT exam. It pinpointed his weak areas and gave him strategies to tackle those kinds of questions. The practice problems were on point and helped him work on his weaker areas, boosting his overall score by 200 points from sophomore to junior year. The improvement he made using this program was seriously impressive and we're thrilled with the results.
Study schedule and topic-specific lessons
I just tried out this study program where I got to make my own study schedule and get reminders. It was super helpful ‘cause it kept me on track and made sure I didn’t get behind in my studies. The lessons and quizzes on specific topics were also really cool. If I didn’t do so hot on a quiz, I could go back and review the stuff and try again later in the week. It really helped me get a good grip on the topics.
Tutoring sessions feedback
I just started doing some one-on-one tutoring sessions, and they have been so amazing for me academically. My tutor is awesome - super good at explaining things, easy to talk to, and always positive, which really makes learning fun and effective. They were really good at pinpointing where I struggled and coming up with ways to help me improve. I definitely suggest this tutoring service to anyone who wants to do well in school.
SAT Prep Course
I bought an SAT prep course that really honed in on the non-math parts of the test, and they did a good job with that. But when it came to the math lessons, they fell short. I felt like they didn't go deep enough and missed some important stuff. It was annoying to have to learn some things on my own, especially since the course was so expensive. On the bright side, the quizzes at the end of each lesson did cover some of the tougher math concepts, even though it meant I had to put in extra study time by myself.
