I was lucky enough to work with this really knowledgeable and skilled consultant who helped my daughter out with her college application essays. Claire was amazing - so professional, kept things chill, and walked us through everything super patiently. She was on top of everything, super nice to work with, and really knew her stuff when it came to the whole admissions process. My daughter felt super comfortable and appreciated by Claire, which made a huge difference in her whole experience. I also found Claire to be really easy to talk to and she was always down to chat about any questions or worries I had about the admissions stuff. She even gave us some pointers on dealing with the Wait List and picking between acceptance offers. SAT Success
I just got my SAT score back and it was a 1510, which was even better than my goal of 1500. I have to give a big shoutout to the PrepScholar Program because it seriously helped me out so much. I used this other prep school for tutoring before, but I wanted to switch it up. So I tried out a different one and boy was I impressed. The tutor they hooked me up with, let's call her Jane, knew her stuff and was super committed to helping me out. Jane broke down tricky concepts in a way that just made sense to me, and I could see a big difference in how well I understood the material. Because of Jane, I did better on my tests and hit the goals I set for myself. I can't say enough good things about this tutoring service - top-notch quality all around.
SAT study guide
Prep Scholar has this whole package for studying for the SAT that really dives into all the stuff you'll see on the test - Math, Reading, and Writing. They give you some solid advice to help you get a good score. But to be honest, I found that the quizzes had way too much of the same questions over and over. It was like I was going in circles, not really picking up anything new or getting better at all.
SAT Prep Resource
I never would've thought that an online resource could really help me improve my SAT score, but PrepScholar totally did! I took my SAT on December 3rd, 2022, and thanks to their awesome weekly lessons, detailed feedback, and tough practice questions, I was able to boost my skills big time. I just started doing some one-on-one tutoring sessions, and they have been so amazing for me academically. SAT Prep improvement
The SAT Prep program we used really helped our son get ready for the PSAT exam. It pinpointed his weak areas and gave him strategies to tackle those kinds of questions. The practice problems were on point and helped him work on his weaker areas, boosting his overall score by 200 points from sophomore to junior year. The improvement he made using this program was seriously impressive and we're thrilled with the results.
Study schedule and topic-specific lessons
I just tried out this study program where I got to make my own study schedule and get reminders. It was super helpful ‘cause it kept me on track and made sure I didn’t get behind in my studies. The lessons and quizzes on specific topics were also really cool. If I didn’t do so hot on a quiz, I could go back and review the stuff and try again later in the week. It really helped me get a good grip on the topics.

Online video lessons for my son
My kid really enjoys the video lessons! They're super focused and explained well, and the practice questions help a lot. After just one practice test, his score went way up from the diagnostic. He's been studying hard with the program, about 6 hours a week, and it's really showing results.
SAT Prep Course
I bought an SAT prep course that really honed in on the non-math parts of the test, and they did a good job with that. But when it came to the math lessons, they fell short. I felt like they didn't go deep enough and missed some important stuff. It was annoying to have to learn some things on my own, especially since the course was so expensive. On the bright side, the quizzes at the end of each lesson did cover some of the tougher math concepts, even though it meant I had to put in extra study time by myself.
Online SAT/ACT practice for junior high student
I'm in middle school and I've been using this online app to prep for the SAT/ACT tests. It's pretty cool, and I try to squeeze in at least an hour every day, even with my crazy schedule. Todd Overstreet helped my mom pick out the best program for me.
