Meh. The Princeton Review is Just Alright
I have used The Princeton Review for test preparation, specifically for the SAT and ACT. The first thing I noticed was the wide range of options for study materials, including online courses, tutoring, and books. I appreciated that they had a variety of packages to choose from, depending on my needs and budget.
I found the online courses to be well-structured and informative. The instructors were knowledgeable and able to explain the material in a clear and engaging way. The practice tests and quizzes were also helpful in identifying areas where I needed to improve.
I also took advantage of the tutoring services offered by The Princeton Review. The tutors were able to provide personalized feedback and strategies for tackling the test. They were also very responsive to any questions or concerns I had.
Overall, I found The Princeton Review to be a valuable resource for test preparation. The materials and instruction were high-quality, and the tutoring services were especially helpful. However, I do wish that they had more practice materials.
One thing I would say is that their prices are on the high side, and I'm not sure if it would be worth it for a student who is already comfortable with the material. But for someone who needs extra help and guidance, it might be worth the investment. And also, I haven't had the opportunity to visit their physical store, but I have heard that they don't have any.Princeton Review purchase
I recently signed up for a test prep course and it exceeded my expectations. My instructor, Suzanne Wint, knew her stuff and was super patient, which made the complicated material easy to grasp even though it was all online. I liked that I could watch class recordings to keep up with my studies, especially with my busy schedule. At first, I was a bit stressed about all the stuff to learn, but the course had everything well-organized, so it wasn't too overwhelming. The practice tests were a game-changer and my scores went up a lot by the end of the course. I totally recommend this test prep program to anyone who wants to reach their academic goals.
SAT preparation course
I really liked the SAT prep course I took with Princeton Review. Even though the classes were long, I thought they were interesting and taught me a lot. My teacher, TyShaun Wynter, did a great job using the 18 hours of instruction to help me get better at the material. The extra work they gave us was also useful, and I'm planning on using it for the rest of my course access time. If you're unsure about group classes, don't worry - I got individual help when I needed it. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to others.
SAT tutoring
We were partnered with a tutor named Anne Cullens, and she totally blew us away. She was super thorough, paid attention to all the details, and really focused on getting results. Anne did an awesome job guiding and encouraging our student, who needed some extra help. We're so happy with how much our student has improved since working with Anne. Investing in SAT tutoring through Princeton Review was definitely worth it. Huge thanks to Anne Cullens and the whole team for their outstanding service.
Tutoring experience
I had a really great experience with Mr. Mullings as a tutor. He's a fantastic teacher – super engaging and really effective. I always felt like I was making progress after every session. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs extra help with their studies.
Study session
The teacher was really great, but the class times were way too long for me. I already spend all day at school, and then I have to go to another 3-hour course which is exhausting. I wish they had shorter sessions.
ACT Prep Course purchase for son
My boy just finished up an ACT Prep Course so he can get into a dual enrollment program at a college in Florida. Even though he didn't quite hit the score he wanted on his first try, Princeton Review came through with their money back guarantee and gave me a refund right away. I'm really grateful for how they make sure customers are happy, and I'll definitely think about using their tutoring services again when my son is ready to give the test another shot.

I was struggling to keep up in my physics class because of my busy schedule with sports. So, I decided to get help from a tutor, and Samuel R was a total lifesaver. He not only helped me understand the material I was behind on, but he also made sure I was ready for the upcoming test. Thanks to him, I didn't have to stay up all night cramming. Terrible tutoring experience
The tutoring program is seriously such a waste of time and money. The teacher just reads straight from the workbook and never really explains anything in a helpful way. Plus, he's always chowing down loud snacks during class and taking forever breaks. It's honestly not helpful at all!

Overall, I found the test prep course to be helpful, but I think it could be even better if they focused more on the tougher topics. Also, I noticed a few problems with the website that could be fixed to make it easier to use.
