I tried the seven-day trial because I needed something to force me to practice on my commute — had a bad run with another app before, so I was cautious. The lessons themselves were okay, short and usable, audio was fine, but the interface felt clunky and I didn't feel hooked. I canceled through Apple before the week ended, but an $80 charge still appeared. Support shrugged it off, blamed Apple, and replies were slow. Useful content, disappointing billing.

I realized I was okay with this when the support rep actually fixed the billing mess and refunded what I’d not even planned to pay. I’d started frustrated — couldn't find a free trial, app hinted charges through my Apple account, chat didn’t work, so I canceled. That instant refund call was the turning point. I’ve had worse with other apps that ghost you, so this felt surprisingly decent and honest. Not perfect — trial terms should be clearer — but the fix made me stick around.
