My siblings and I actually surprised our mom with a sunset cruise of the NYC skyline as an early Mother's Day treat. Since we all live in New York, we all love being out on the water. The trip on Captain Eric's sailboat was absolutely amazing. He was super friendly, knew a ton about the city and nature, and really made the whole thing special. The weather was just perfect, and we even got to see this beautiful blood-orange full moon. Captain Eric even provided some snacks and drinks, and being on his boat felt like a second home. I'm definitely planning on booking a longer cruise with my friends down the road. I seriously recommend this experience to anyone!
Job application experience
I applied for a job on Facebook, but it was totally fake! They sent my information to another company with a sketchy job description. I kept asking questions, but they were really evasive. It was a total scam! I took screenshots to show as proof. And that 5-star review from a supposed jaded New Yorker in Romania? Definitely fake!
Bad boat rental experience
Renting a boat from that place was the worst decision ever. It was just a disaster from the beginning. The boat looked great in the listing and the price seemed reasonable, so we decided to go for it. But man, were we mistaken! The owner of the boat outright lied about what was included in the rental, they kept changing the captain until we got someone who could barely talk to us. And on top of all that, the boat reeked of gasoline the whole time. Booking was a nightmare with hidden fees and confusing messages everywhere. When we tried to complain and get our money back, they just bounced us back and forth between the owner and customer service until we ended up with a measly refund of €5.25. It was a complete joke! Do yourselves a favor and choose a reputable boat rental company instead.
