I installed WP Legal after a messy run with other compliance plugins — you know, the ones that break your layout or hide options behind paywalls. At first it felt clunky, or maybe confusing, even though I've been building WordPress themes for years. The cookie consent tool is the highlight for me; it's simple to set up and adapts to different regions without me writing custom rules. It took a couple tries and a few wrong clicks to find where everything lived, and the wording in some parts could be clearer, but once I figured the flow it's been steady. It spits out policy pages and legal text that my customers don't complain about, which is kind of the point. Support answered a question I had in a day, which helped. Not perfect — some UI bits are old-school, but it saves time and removes lots of guesswork. Compared to other headaches I've had with similar plugins, this one actually made our lives easier.
Cookie drama turned easy
