I keep renewing the General membership because the gear actually gets used. I throw things in my daypack and my adult kids—who are way more active than me—end up claiming half of it for hikes and camping. Stuff feels sturdy, not cheap. Sometimes a box has an odd duplicate or one thing that’s meh, but overall it’s useful. If they keep the outdoors/preparedness vibe, I’ll stay a customer.
Little quarterly joys
I first heard about this from a buddy at work and figured it’d be a fun gift for my husband. He actually gets weirdly excited ripping the box open. The stuff inside feels solid, not cheap, and he uses a lot of it right away. We had a hiccup with the first couple boxes — a missing piece and slow reply — but they fixed it and now it’s been great; I even upgraded his plan.
That green box still does it
There’s something oddly comforting about a green box that shows up and just sits there—like a tiny promise. We don’t open CrateClub boxes right away; we save them for Father’s Day, a camping packing day, or Christmas morning, and opening together is honestly the highlight. Most items are actually useful, which is great, and we keep a few for travel. That said, it’s not perfect — sometimes there’s a filler item or a repeat and I go, really? Shipping is usually okay and customer service has been helpful when I reached out. Price can feel a bit high some months, but for the shared surprise and real usefulness I keep renewing.
Boxes I Actually Use
I was halfway through opening the latest box when I noticed how much of it I actually used. I renewed my membership a few months ago and my first thought was, wow, these are solid pieces — rugged, practical, not just flashy. I use a couple items on weekend hikes, and my grown kids keep stealing things for their trips. Keep the outdoors/preparedness stuff coming, it actually matters.
Green box, good chaos
there’s always that one little thing that makes everyone laugh or actually gets used. Sure, not every gadget is a winner — once there was a weird tool nobody knew what to do with — but most of the stuff fits our weekend vibe. It’s become kind of a tradition to save the box for trip day, kind of fun and kind of predictable in a good way.
Crate Club disappointment
I thought I was getting this super cool green crate full of awesome stuff. But all I got was a regular old box. So then I called customer service to ask about getting my money back or exchanging it, and they basically said no refunds or returns. It really felt like they were tricking me, and I was totally bummed out. My advice: don't waste your money here, go buy somewhere else.
Monthly subscription box
I just started getting this monthly subscription box and I love opening it up to see all the cool stuff inside. One thing I got was this awesome insulated water bottle that I started using all the time. But, when I was in Mexico for work, someone swiped it. I couldn't find the same one online to buy a new one. I contacted customer service, and this guy Cane really went out of his way to find one and send it to me right away. I can't wait for it to arrive, and I'm super grateful for the awesome customer service I got.
Surprise boxes
I absolutely love when I get those mystery boxes from Crate Club! It's always a thrill to open it up and discover all the awesome stuff inside. The items are all such great quality, definitely worth the money. I'm really looking forward to the next box showing up!
Tactical gear box
Oh my gosh, this gear box is seriously the best! It's so durable and holds all of my awesome stuff perfectly. I bring it everywhere with me and it never disappoints. I definitely recommend it to all of my friends!

Why bother searching for survival gear when you can let the folks at Crate Club handle it for you? They pack this box with all the basics you'd need in tough situations, put together by folks who really know their stuff. I've been counting down the days until each shipment arrives, and I'm excited to see what they've cooked up for me next.
Awesome gift
Crate Club is pretty awesome. I got it as a gift for a friend and it was a blast. The items inside were decent, nothing too wild, but still neat. It had a sharpener, a frog/fishing spear, and some random goodies like bags and a bottle opener necklace. It's a cool subscription if you can afford it.
Subscription box renewal
After thinking about whether I should keep my subscription, I was pleasantly surprised by the recent improvements in the quality of the products. Over the past 3 years, I got some not-so-great items that made me wonder if my membership was worth it. But the last few boxes had some really amazing products that got me excited. One thing that stood out was the ZT0350 knife, it was even better than I expected in terms of how well it was made and how useful it is. Another awesome find was the 2-gallon portable pressurized shower from the box before, which is perfect for giving my dog a good cleaning after he gets into some gross stuff. These cool and useful items really made my subscription feel worth it and I'm glad I stuck around.

I recently reached out to their online support about my Crate Club subscription, and I have to say, their customer service was amazing. The representative, who I'll call "March," was super quick to respond and didn't stop until my issue was completely sorted out. If only all customer service interactions were this great. Cool stuff that I actually use!
This place is awesome! They have such great stuff that I use regularly. It's not like those other places with low-quality items that never get used. The products here are top-notch and I'm really satisfied with my buys. And I love all the different items they have, it's always fun to browse their selection. The only downside is that sometimes my favorite items are out of stock, but other than that, I'm a huge fan of this place!
Father's Day gift
I've been using this subscription service for a couple of years now. It all started with a gift for my husband on Father's Day. At first, I was just like, "Nah, it's fine." But as time went on, it got way better. The stuff we get is super cool, well thought out, and actually handy. Quarterly Crate purchase
I recently got a Quarterly Crate from Crate Club and I gotta say, I was really happy with the whole thing. The stuff inside was top quality, especially that cool axe and arrowhead Survival Card. Only problem was, the arrowhead was missing from the package. But when I contacted customer service, Marie helped me out right away. She quickly fixed the issue and sent me the missing item without any fuss. I gotta give props to the customer service team for being so professional and efficient. They really listened to my feedback and sorted everything out fast. It's nice to see that Crate Club cares about customer satisfaction and respects their clients, especially those with a military background. All in all, I'm super impressed with how much care and attention Crate Club puts into their products.
Awesome stuff!
These guys are great! My dad really likes the stuff he gets from them and if there's ever an issue, they fix it super quick. I did have a few problems, but most of the time it was because of the delivery guy, not them. But they still helped out, even though it wasn't their fault. I would definitely recommend them, their customer service is awesome!
Awesome stuff!
The things I bought were really awesome, but I kind of wished they had some color night vision gear. And man, it would be so amazing if they could ship to South Africa. The person who helped me was super nice and really professional. If they decide to make any changes to their shipping, they better give me a heads up!
