The best ski boots !
I am familiar with gear trade, as i bought a few things from here from time to time. But the recent purchase that i did made me so happy and satisfied that i can't even express it!
So i bought this Dalbello viper men ski boots ( the price is not that high if you look at the features) Also its really cool that people can sell their gears if they are not using it anymore.
Well, even though it used the quality still not suffers. the overall look is superb and it's comfortable like nothing else
I am not very sure about what they sell apart from the shoes and clothing, as i tried these two sections yet. And i am super happy that i got the best deals without spending too much money on itOnline gear consignment
Geartrade is amazing! I used their consignment model to sell my gear and it was so easy. All I had to do was print the label, pack up my stuff, and send it off. They took care of everything else, letting me know the recommended price for my items and giving me the option to adjust it. Most of my gear sold quickly and I got the money in my Geartrade account really fast. The best part is they give you the choice to use your earnings on their site or cash it out to your bank account. No more dealing with meeting up with strangers or answering a ton of questions. Geartrade is the best!
Climbing gear and clothing
GearTrade is like my ultimate spot for finding some awesome deals on climbing gear and clothes. Seriously, I've come across some super cool closeout stuff from top brands at crazy good prices. I always manage to track down the specific gear I need for my adventures, and I've saved a bunch of money by shopping there. The stuff that's on liquidation is basically like new, and I've snagged some really great steals on things like climbing shoes and GORE-TEX pants. I definitely suggest you give GearTrade a look for all your outdoor gear needs.
Online gear purchase
I recently bought some stuff on GearTrade and it went really well. I forgot to add something to my order for free shipping, but the customer service team fixed it before it shipped. Scott at GearTrade was awesome and combined my orders so I didn't have to pay for shipping. I got an outdoor gear item and two accessories, and they were in even better condition than I thought. They looked brand new and unused, way better than I expected. Plus, the shipping was super fast which was a nice surprise.
Awesome outdoor gear
They've got pretty much everything you'd need for outdoor fun, but sometimes you just gotta wait for the right person to help you out. The transactions always go smoothly and if any problems come up, they handle them really well!
Outdoor gear purchase
I bought some outdoor gear on GearTrade not too long ago, and honestly, I was pretty let down by the whole thing. The prices were deceptive, and they ended up taking more than half of what I made from the sale, which I think is totally unfair. I've decided I won't be using their services anymore.
Sandals purchase with manufacturing defect
I recently ordered some sandals for my son from GearTrade and ran into a problem with a manufacturing defect. I had to return the sandals, but it ended up working out because my son didn't really like them anyway. Their customer service was amazing though, super helpful and quick to respond. They made the return process easy and I got my refund no problem. Overall, I had a great experience working with them and really appreciate their top-notch customer service.
hiking boots and a backpack
I just bought a pair of hiking boots and a backpack from this online store. Even though some other users didn't have great things to say, I thought I'd give it a shot. And I'm glad I did! Everything went really well and I found exactly what I needed at a good price. The items were in awesome condition and matched the descriptions perfectly. I was really happy with the quality of the products and how smoothly the whole transaction went.
Purchase - Backcountry brand pants
I recently purchased some pants from Backcountry brand, and I noticed some quality control problems. The pants had two backsides sewn together, which was not what I expected. I reached out to GearTrade about this issue, and they were really helpful and quick to respond. However, I was bummed out by the overall quality of the pants. I've bought Backcountry pants in the past with no problems, but this time was definitely a letdown.
Various products from sellers
I have to admit, my thoughts on GearTrade are kind of all over the place. I mean, I really dig the variety of stuff they have for sale on there. I've snagged a bunch of items from various sellers, and for the most part, they've been in pretty good shape and matched the descriptions. I tend to lean towards buying from sellers who have solid ratings and a bunch of good reviews to help guarantee a hassle-free purchase.
Outdoor backpack
I just bought this outdoor backpack from GearTrade. I heard some mixed reviews, but I still wanted to try them out. Ordering was pretty simple and smooth. Although, I was a bit surprised by the price being a little high for a used item. The backpack got to me pretty quickly, which was nice. Overall, I was happy with the service, but now I'm not sure about buying from them again with their new changes.
Recent consignment purchase
I recently bought something on GearTrade where you can sell your own stuff, but I'm kind of disappointed with the changes they made to the website. Before, I had no issues selling my gear on there. But when I tried to list some winter items recently, I couldn't find the option to do it myself anymore. Now, they only have the consignment model available. This was frustrating because their help documents still say you can list your own items. I reached out to the help desk for help on how to do it, but I haven't heard back yet. If they really decided to not let members list their own gear, they should update their website and help desk information to make it more clear.
Tent purchase
As someone who buys stuff on GearTrade, I've gotta admit I've been let down by sellers not following through with accepted offers. It's kind of bumming me out and making me doubt how reliable things are on this site. It's frustrating when I get an offer accepted and then nothing happens.
Slow and expensive selling process
It felt like it took forever for my stuff to even show up on the website! And then, when it finally did, they ended up taking a bunch of my money which was definitely not cool.
Black Diamond jacket
I've been using GearTrade for a while now and I gotta say, their customer service is top-notch. Recently, I had a problem with my order for a Black Diamond jacket that I needed ASAP. Luckily, Scott from the customer service team was a huge help and got everything sorted out real quick. Big shoutout to the GearTrade team for always going above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy.
Snowboards purchase
GearTrade used to be awesome for finding cheap snowboards from Backcountry returns, but now it's just a bunch of small shops selling full-priced stuff. It's kind of a bummer to see the change, so I don't really bother going on the site anymore.
Hiking boots
I recently bought hiking boots from GearTrade and man, it took them forever to list my gear. I mean, it seriously took so long! On top of that, their communication skills are pretty lacking, which is really frustrating. Also, they sell brand-new gear at full price but offer you hardly anything if you try to sell your own stuff. It's such a rip off, I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
Sold Shoes
Geartrade has a very vague Pricing Policy that allows them to change your ageed-upon price whenever they want, without notice.
I initially agreed to sell a pair of $250 bike shoes on their site for $125. After just over 6 months, they sold the shoes for $37 which netted me just $9.79. At no time did they notify me of any price change.
When I reached out to them they said that, "After the initial 30 days of a Consignment item being listed, the price is reduced on a weekly basis to maintain pace with the depreciation of the item."
Nowhere is their Pricing Policy does it state such practice. What it does say is, "Geartrade may decrease the price based on market conditions, demand, and seasonality."
Although this broad statement questionably covers the aforementioned practice, this is completely misleading. No way would I have agreed to terms that depreciated my shoes by ...14% a month after listing for just 30 days. If this is standard practice for all gear consigned to their site, they should state so clearly.
I am very unsatisfied with my experience and although I love recycling gear back into the stream, I assure you that I definitely will never do so with Geartrade again.Awesome place for getting gear
This place is awesome because they have so much stuff for sale. You can find anything you want, whether it's brand new or vintage. The prices are really good and much better than a typical store. The only thing that could be improved is how they sort sizes and how easy it is to navigate the website. But whenever I need gear, this is where I always go.
