I recently bought something on GearTrade where you can sell your own stuff, but I'm kind of disappointed with the changes they made to the website. Before, I had no issues selling my gear on there. But when I tried to list some winter items recently, I couldn't find the option to do it myself anymore. Now, they only have the consignment model available. This was frustrating because their help documents still say you can list your own items. I reached out to the help desk for help on how to do it, but I haven't heard back yet. If they really decided to not let members list their own gear, they should update their website and help desk information to make it more clear.

The messenger bag I bought totally fell apart after just a few months. The inside of the front flap started cracking and then literally falling to pieces. When I got in touch with Customer Service, they were no help at all. The rep, Arielle, flat out said they wouldn't honor their lifetime guarantee and wouldn't give me a refund or replacement bag. I'm super bummed about the crappy quality of the bag and the terrible customer service.

I had a really bad time with my recent purchase from this company. They charged me the wrong amount, even though I was supposed to get a reward. On top of that, the website said my order would ship in 24 hours but a week later, it still hadn't been sent out. Their customer service phone number is useless because it's just an automated message. The online chat wasn't working either, so I had to wait almost a week for an email back. It was super frustrating and disappointing overall.

Swing your Wings bag charm purchase
I recently bought a Swing your Wings bag charm from your store and somehow managed to lose it. I saw that there are replacement charms you can buy, but not the silver Original charm I need. I tried asking about getting a new one since it comes with new bags, but I was told it's only available if you buy a whole new bag for over 400 euros. It used to be sold for just 25 euros, but not anymore (even though it's included with all new Swing your Wings bags!). If I'm already spending a lot of money, I think I should at least be able to get the charm I need. I didn't lose it on purpose and I don't expect a freebie, but it seems like Z&V cares more about making money than helping out a customer in this situation.

I recently bought a fancy purse from The Real Real and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with it. It's just like how they described it and the color is exactly what I wanted. The shipping was quick and reliable, which is always a good thing when you're buying stuff online. But when I got the purse, it smelled like tobacco and weed, so I'm pretty sure the previous owner smoked. That was a big bummer for me 'cause I don't smoke. They should definitely be more clear on the website about whether a product comes from a smoking household. And they should be more careful when they're checking out products that people bring in for consignment, so this doesn't happen again. Having to clean the purse to get rid of the smell was annoying and unexpected, so I can't give them a perfect score for my experience.

Surprise fees
I was super upset with my experience at this store. I bought something and then found out I got signed up for a rewards program that costs $18 a month, with no heads-up beforehand. I didn't realize there was this hidden fee until I was already charged. Even though the first month was supposed to be "free", I feel like this store was sneaky and not upfront with me. It made me feel so irritated and ripped off. I definitely won't be coming back to shop here again.
