US esim purchase
I got an esim, but it totally flopped! I attempted to put it in my phone like three times, but every time it said it wasn't valid. When I reached out to customer service, their response was just, "Give it another shot." I explained that I had already tried multiple times, even on different phones, but it was still a no-go! Super frustrating, dude.
Mexico City trip again
Every time something goes wrong, Airalo's first instinct is to point the finger at the customer. It's like they're not even human, just a robot spitting out excuses. They kept demanding more screenshots and blaming their partners. I don't know if that's legit or if they're just dodging responsibility. At least I have service now, but it's only in certain places. We'll have to wait and see how it performs over time.
eSIM for Colombia
I bought an eSIM for Colombia and everything went smoothly. The connection was always strong and reliable. It's easiest to install through the app and activating it is a breeze. Just keep in mind that it's for data only, so you'll need to use Whatsapp for calls. Local sims might be a cheaper option, but I personally like to have everything set up before I travel.
Unfulfilled service
I am so upset with the service I got. I paid for something that I never got, even after I tried to cancel or get a new ESIM multiple times. The company didn't respond and just made me go through pointless steps, which made me angry and cost me money. I wasted days trying to fix it, but all I got was unhelpful replies and wasted time. I ended up having to use my own data, which led to high roaming fees. This whole thing makes me feel like I got scammed and taken advantage of.
Short trip to Turkey
I used the eSIM service on my recent short trip to Turkey and I have to say, it was a bit disappointing. I decided to go with a 2 GB plan based on some recommendations from friends. However, not long into my trip, I started getting a bunch of emails from the company saying my data was about to run out and I needed to buy more. It was annoying because I kept checking on the app and it showed I still had plenty of data left. Despite this, the emails kept coming. It felt like they were being a bit too pushy by constantly asking me to top up when I knew I was okay. When I reached out to complain, they said sorry, but by then, the whole experience had already left a bad taste in my mouth. Being someone who travels a lot, I really do expect better service and clearer communication from the companies I choose to give my business to.
My eSIM purchase
I can't believe how terrible that eSIM was! It was super pricey and the customer service was basically non-existent. On top of that, it kept connecting to the internet from China instead of the USA. So sketchy! I'm definitely switching to better options like Yesim and Mobimatter.
International eSIM connectivity
I just used an international eSIM service from Airalo in Uganda, Kenya, and India, and I have to say it was super reliable. Even in places where my usual provider doesn't work, this service connected quickly and stayed strong throughout my trip. I always use my VPN for extra security on public WiFi, and I was happy to see that the eSIM from Airalo was always fast and dependable.
E-sim purchase for travel
I travel a lot and use e-sim services for my phone when I'm overseas. Airalo is my favorite place to get e-sim cards because it always works great. I never have any problems with it and it keeps me connected wherever I go. One thing I really like is the app lets me know how much data I've used, so I always know how much I have left. They even gave me a discount with a referral code, which was a nice surprise. I'm really happy with Airalo's e-sim service and I'll definitely be using it for my next trips.
Poor Service Experience
I really want to emphasize that you shouldn't waste your time and money on this service. I made the mistake of using it and it was a complete nightmare. To begin with, the user interface is super clunky and hard to figure out. It took me ages just to find the product I wanted to buy. And when I finally made the purchase, the service didn't work like it was supposed to. I tried contacting customer service for help, but they were no help whatsoever. They pretty much just told me to deal with it on my own. And on top of all that, when I asked for a refund because the service was basically useless to me, they said no. It was just ridiculous.
Airalo eSIM purchase for Thailand mobile phone in Malaysia
Setting up the Airalo eSIM on my Thailand phone was easy, but it didn't work once I got to Malaysia. Even though I had service, the eSIM wouldn't activate and the app said it wasn't working. I tried everything, but no luck. I reached out for help in the app, but no one got back to me. In the end, I realized it was cheaper to use my Thai provider's roaming plan than the Airalo eSIM for Malaysia. I wouldn't suggest it.
Innovative eSIM for travel data connectivity
The coverage is great and the reception is super fast (up to 40mbps on LTE). Just one tip: don't mess with the default data settings or your SIM card might be out of service for a few minutes.
20GB eSIM for USA
I recently bought a 20GB eSIM for my USA trip from this service. I put it in while I was still in the UK, made sure to turn on roaming for the eSIM and off for my regular SIM. When I got to the US, I was able to connect to the local network smoothly with no problems. I only used 10GB of data during my week there, which was plenty for what I needed. At $12, the service was definitely a good deal considering how easy and convenient it was to use. Overall, I had a great experience with this service and would totally recommend it to anyone traveling to the USA.
GB usage problem
Hey, so I got this app from this one place where you can get data for your phone, you know? It's working fine and all, but the amount of data it says I'm using just doesn't seem accurate. I have a different provider and I can use a lot more data with them than with this app. I don't get how they're calculating the data usage on the app, but it's definitely not matching up with what I'm actually using. It's like my data is vanishing way too quickly. Pretty frustrating, dude.
Cruise Esim purchase
I really enjoy using my Cruise Esim from Airalo when I go on vacations. It works in a bunch of different countries and saves me the hassle of getting a new sim card every time. The coverage is fantastic, and I've never had any problems with the service. On top of that, the customer support is really helpful whenever I need help. I definitely suggest giving it a shot, especially if you're a travel enthusiast like me!
Ticket support
At first, I thought I was stuck with a problem, but the team at Airalo really came through for me. They helped me out and stuck with me, even though the problem wasn't their fault. This was my second time using their services and I'm already thinking about using them again. I definitely suggest their support team – they really know their stuff.
E-sim for Uzbekistan
I bought a really neat e-sim for my trip to Uzbekistan. It was working fine, but it kept disconnecting every time I changed cell towers. I had to keep reconnecting manually and sometimes even switch to flight mode and back just to get it working again. It was super irritating! They really need to fix this issue quickly. If they do, I would totally give them a 4 or 5-star review. I'm not sure if this problem happens with other e-sims, but when I tried one from a different company, I never had this issue. Also, they tried to trick me into buying more data when I still had plenty left, which was not cool at all!
International SIM card purchase
I just bought an international SIM card for my trip, and let me tell you, I was super impressed with how easy it was to order and set up. The service was top-notch, and the price was totally fair for all the convenience it provided. It got delivered right on time, and I had zero problems getting it to work on my phone while I was overseas. All in all, I totally recommend this service to anyone traveling internationally.
SIM card
Oh my gosh, I kept getting so many messages from this place! It felt like I was talking to robots, seriously frustrating. Even after I told them to stop, they just wouldn't quit. It all seemed really sketchy and I felt like they were trying to pull a fast one on me. I just want them to refund my money and stop bothering me. Ugh.
Eurolink 10 GB Europe SIMs for iPhone
I was pretty disappointed with the Eurolink 10 GB Europe SIMs on my recent trip. They were fine in Spain and Austria, but in Hungary and the Czech Republic, I had slow speeds and connection problems. It was a pain trying to use data on my iPhone 14 max and 15 pro max, so I ended up using free wifi for a big chunk of my trip. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest these SIM cards for anyone traveling in the future.
Waste of money
I purchased a 5Gb eSIM for China expecting it to work, but it turned out to be a total disappointment! Luckily, I found one from Nomad for a cheaper price and it worked much better. The Airalo eSIM took forever to connect in Beijing and didn't work at all in Shenzhen. I reached out to their customer support, but they weren't helpful at all. On the other hand, my Nomad eSIM worked perfectly. My advice is to steer clear of Airalo!
