I’m sticking with Origin. I first noticed them on a friend’s counter (she had their bag and a handwritten note), tried a subscription and some one-off bags, and now I even told a couple coworkers about it. Beans are consistently easy to dial in — honestly easier than what I used before — and the flavor is solid without being flashy. Had one hiccup with Royal Mail (only time in almost a year) and Maddie at Origin sorted it quickly and even threw in something extra, which was a nice surprise. Dry, efficient service and dependable beans — not romantic, just reliable, and that’s what I wanted.
Surprisingly decent despite slow shipping
Weird start - I actually hesitated because I’d just moved and needed my morning coffee setup fast. I’ve had slow deliveries before so I paid extra for 24-hour dispatch and still thought "here we go". The coffee showed up in the 48 hours my invoice said, so that matched expectations, and the French press took longer than I expected but arrived intact and works great. So my original worry about quality disappeared — it's solid stuff, nice finish, feels durable. Delivery could be faster, for sure, but overall happy I ordered; will buy again, just maybe not pay extra next time. No regrets, really.
