I would not order from WorldSIM again, and I really wish I had trusted my first little “hmm, this feels off” moment. A coworker mentioned them when I was looking for a SIM for an upcoming U.S. trip, and the website made it sound pretty straightforward: international SIM, U.S. number, quick shipping. Great, I thought. One less travel thing to worry about. Turns out it became the travel thing I worried about the most, which is honestly kind of impressive for a tiny piece of plastic.
More hassle than it was worth
reset the unit. I did that more than once, with no luck. After a few weeks, I explained that the router wasn’t usable and asked for either a refund or clear return instructions. Eventually I got a London return address, but by then I was worried about paying return postage for something that never worked for me, especially since the return policy seemed unclear about opened or used items. I didn’t receive a helpful answer after raising that. In the end, I gave up and threw the device away. Maybe others have had better luck, but I’d recommend checking the shipping location, taxes, and return terms very carefully before ordering.
