My most recent flight with this airline was pretty disappointing. The flight out was late, we waited forever for our bags once we landed, and the seats were just plain uncomfortable. The movies and stuff to do were lacking, and the food and drinks were seriously lacking. The crew wasn't the friendliest and didn't seem to care too much about helping out. But hey, it was a cheap flight so I guess you get what you pay for, right?
Flight cancellation chaos
My experience with this airline was a total nightmare. They cancelled my flight three times in a row, and then told me I had to go to a different airport. I ended up spending money on two hotel nights and a pricey taxi ride, only to find out at the airport that the plane had crashed into another plane at my destination. It's unbelievable how incompetent they are.
Flight Porto/Montreal
I usually bring my carry-on suitcase and my computer bag when I fly, but this time my computer bag was unexpectedly too big (I promise it's always been the same size!). They ended up charging me 100 euros for it, which is definitely not cool. After flying with them for 5 years, is this really how they're gonna treat me? Well, goodbye Air Transat, I won't be flying with you again!
Seat selection for canceled flight
We had to cancel our flight to Canada because of the Coronavirus pandemic travel restrictions, even though we had already picked our seats. As European travelers, we couldn't get into Canada or the US, which cost us a lot of money. We contacted the airline to ask for a refund for our seat selection since it was out of our control. But Air Transat said no, showing they didn't really care about our situation. It's frustrating to see a company put money before people during a tough time like this, taking advantage of the situation without helping out their customers.
My Airline Experience
I had such a terrible time with my airline! They went and canceled my flight and now I can't even get my money back. Supposedly there are rules saying I should be able to get a refund, but they're not playing by the book. All I want is my money back, not these useless vouchers they're offering. It's just not right that they're holding onto my cash for a flight that never even took off. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this airline!
Flight booking
My experience with the company was really disappointing. I booked my flight through a third-party, and then found out that the terms had changed without me knowing. I talked to the manager about it, and they apologized but only offered a voucher as a fix. I feel like the company isn't taking responsibility for their mistakes, and it's made me upset and like I can't trust them.
8-hour international flight
I flew on an 8-hour international flight with this airline recently, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The seats were so uncomfortable, it felt like sitting on rocks rather than proper seats. The lack of space in both the seats and the aisle made the whole journey feel really cramped and suffocating. And to top it off, there was no in-flight entertainment available, which was pretty surprising for a modern airline. The only good thing was the cabin crew - they were polite and did their best to make the situation a little less awful. I definitely wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone, not even my worst enemy.
Overcharged for bassinet reservation
I just booked a flight and was so surprised when they told me I had to shell out an extra 216 euros to secure a bassinet for my little one. They didn't even mention this when I booked the ticket, and I just think it's really unfair to families who are flying with kids. Other airlines offer this service for free, so why are we getting hit with such a steep fee for something that should be standard?
Flight Attendant Behavior
My recent experience with the flight attendants on my flight wasn't great. There was this one flight attendant who seemed pretty confrontational and couldn't really handle tense situations well. She just kept bossing passengers around without any thought, making the whole flight uncomfortable for everyone. It was kind of a letdown to see that some of the flight attendants didn't treat us like paying customers, more like we were stuck serving time under their rule until we landed.
Lost Luggage Nightmare
This airline really messed up my whole vacation from beginning to end. I flew from one country to another for a special celebration, and when I got there, all of my luggage was nowhere to be found. They not only messed up my trip, but they also made me feel embarrassed and let down on my birthday. It's been 3 days and they still can't find my stuff, so I had to spend my birthday in huge, baggy pajamas. Their customer service is terrible and I am so fed up with this whole situation.
International flight experience
My recent international flight was a bit of a mixed bag, ya know? The food and drink service during the flight was top-notch, probably one of the best I've ever had in coach class. But man, let me tell ya, the seat on the first leg of my journey was not too comfy, makin' that long flight a real pain in the butt. And don't even get me started on the crying babies near my seat - I think they should have a rule to put families with infants in a special part of the plane.
On the bright side, the in-flight entertainment was pretty solid with a bunch of good shows, even some HBO stuff. Next time, I might have to shell out for some Club Class seats to make sure I have a more comfortable and chill trip.Flight from London to Dominican Republic via Montreal
My recent flight with the airline was a total letdown. At London Gatwick airport, the lack of clear signs made it a nightmare to find the check-in desks for my flight. The whole process of scanning our luggage through to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, via Montreal was a mess. On the plane, the food was meh and there was hardly any legroom. As if that wasn't bad enough, when we finally arrived at our destination after hours of traveling, my luggage was nowhere in sight. It really put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun vacation since my stuff was missing for most of the trip. And to top it off, there were no Transat staff around to help out, even though many other passengers on the same flight were also missing their bags.
Flight Scheduled Change
My flight with the airline was a total mess because of two big issues. First, I booked my flight way ahead of time, but then the airline randomly switched the flight times to an earlier slot. This messed up all my plans at my destination. Second, they canceled my Club seat and wanted to stick me in an economy seat instead. They only gave me a refund that didn't even come close to the price difference. The whole thing really ticked me off and now I wish I hadn't picked this airline for my trip.
Recent flight experience FCO-YUL
My recent flight from FCO to YUL really let me down. I fly a lot, but this time was rough because the temperature on the plane was all messed up. The middle part of the plane was like an icebox, while the front was fine. So me and a bunch of other passengers were stuck shivering and our feet felt like ice. I told the airline staff about it a bunch of times, but they didn't do much to fix it. We had to tough out the freezing cold for the whole 9-hour flight.
Terrible Flight Experience
I flew with this airline recently and oh man, it was a total disaster! The food was terrible and the plane was way too hot. Because of them, I missed my connecting flight and didn't get any help or a refund. It was just so bad!
Flight tickets
Wow, that really sucks. I bought my flight tickets and it was a complete disaster. The customer service was incredibly rude and unfriendly. They didn't care about helping me reach my destination, just about making money. The manager even wouldn't let me board and threatened to call security. Not cool at all.
£11K flights switched to different airline - no refund
I recently booked these really pricey flights with this one airline, right? And then they go and switch my flights to a whole different airline! Can you believe that? And on top of that, the new airline had seats all squished together, totally different vibe. So then I tried to get a refund from the original airline, but nope, they told me it's just not their policy to do that. So now I'm feeling super irritated and like I got tricked in this whole mess.
My Experience Flying with Air Transat
I recently had the opportunity to fly with Air Transat for the first time and overall, I was very pleased with my experience.
From the booking process to the flight itself, everything was smooth and easy. The website was user-friendly and I was able to find and book my flights quickly. I also appreciated the option to select my seat and add any extra services I needed, such as baggage or meals.
The flight attendants were friendly and attentive, and the plane itself was clean and comfortable. The in-flight entertainment was also a nice touch, as it helped to pass the time on my long-haul flight.
One thing I would suggest for improvement is the food options. While the meals were decent, I would have liked to see more variety and healthier options available.
Overall, I had a positive experience with Air Transat and would recommend them to others looking for a reliable and comfortable flight.
