I had a bit of an issue with my payment, but the agents were really helpful and stuck by my side until we got it sorted out after a couple of days. Their support made me never feel like I was dealing with it all on my own! Plus, I was able to get in touch with the landlord easily and quickly once I had all the info.
Help with payment issues
I was really pleased with the help I received when I had some issues with the payment. The company was incredibly nice and assisted me in resolving the problem. They even kept my booking on hold while I sorted everything out. Lia was absolutely fantastic, she was very professional and friendly, and she definitely made everything a lot easier for me.
Room availability and assistance
Requesting my second room through Spotahome was super easy and quick. When my first choice wasn't available, they gave me other options right away. Lia at Spotahome was awesome - she helped me choose another room and made sure everything went smoothly. She was really good at keeping me updated and answering my questions fast. Talking directly with my landlord also made me feel more comfortable and added a personal touch to the whole thing. It was a great experience overall.
Accommodation in Madrid
I had the hardest time trying to find a place to stay in Madrid for a whole month with no luck at all. Luckily, a friend told me about Spotahome and in just 2 days, I had everything set up. I definitely suggest it to anyone searching for a place to stay in Madrid.
Accuracy of Information
My experience with this platform has been a total nightmare. The contract I signed had all sorts of unclear language and extra fees that let the landlord charge me for every little thing. The rooms didn't look anything like the photos they had online. It was a total rip-off trying to cancel my payment when I saw I had been tricked. And there was no government oversight to help me out. I would definitely steer clear of this sketchy operation.

Apartment rental
I was surprised when a rep reached out to me before I even had to ask. Clara really went above and beyond to answer all my questions and help me out. But I gotta say, I wish there were more pictures of the property. The ones they have now just aren't cutting it for me. Not being able to see enough is making me a little worried about making a decision that might come back to bite me later on.
