Birdwatching, nature, and photography tour
I just got back from a spontaneous trip to Thailand, Malaysia, and Sumatra, Indonesia where I really focused on birdwatching, enjoying the great outdoors, and taking some amazing photos. Being a solo traveler, I was kind of worried about finding a good guide to help me explore the more remote parts of Asia. Luckily, I found Rudianto Sembiring from Medan, Sumatra, who goes by Rudy. He immediately stood out to me with his friendly personality and genuine interest in making sure my trip was everything I wanted it to be. Originally, I had only booked a three-day tour, but Rudy was so professional and knowledgeable that I ended up extending it to five days. We spent three nights in a national park, including one crazy night camping in the jungle, and a night at the beautiful Lake Toba. Rudy's driving skills and his connections with locals along the way made the trip even more special. I was really impressed by how involved he is in different conservation projects, which has gotten him recognition all over the world. Most importantly, Rudy always puts his clients first, which is really amazing. Ask him about his favorite coffee spot for an authentic Sumatran coffee experience. Thanks, Rudy, for an unforgettable adventure! By the way, our encounter with three orangutans was definitely a highlight of the trip.
Mesopotamia Day Trip
Oh man, Mesopotamia Day Trip was amazing! We went down the Euphrates River and checked out some awesome places like Mardin, Midyat, Dara, and Sanlıurfa. The weather was perfect, especially in Dara. Our guide was really great and took us to all the coolest spots. The walking tour in Urfa was fantastic, especially the bazaar. And exploring the old city at night was super spooky and fun. I can't wait to go back to Mesopotamia! Huge thanks to tourHQ!
Private city tours in Cairo and Alexandria
I hired two private guides using this service to tour the cities of Cairo and Alexandria. I had a really good experience with both guides - they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure to take care of what I needed. It was easy to communicate through the app, and the guides were affordable. I paid one guide through the website and the other guide a mix of online and in person. Overall, I totally recommend using this service for private city tours.
Walking tour in Istanbul

Local guides, reasonable price
I thought the local guides on this site were really awesome and knew their stuff. They took us to all the cool spots in the city and even showed us some hidden gems. The only problem I had was with the payment process. It was kinda confusing having to pay the rest of the money to the tour guide after the first payment. But other than that, it was a great experience!

Private tour booking
I booked a private tour through this website and got paired with an awesome guide. But, I ran into a few problems along the way. First off, I only heard back from one guide for my tour, so I didn't have a lot of choices. And secondly, I had to pay for the whole tour upfront, which I thought was kinda inconvenient. I would've preferred just putting down a deposit instead.
