Small win after a rocky start

light, nicely packaged, looked fine. But then it didn’t show up on either device. No icon, no extra adapter, nothing in Device Manager. I tried different cables and ports. Same result. That was a bummer — honestly I was surprised and a bit annoyed.
I reached out to support because I wanted to know if I was doing something wrong. At first they pointed to possible host compatibility. That made me second-guess myself for a while. I recorded a few short videos, ran basic checks, tested on another USB4 laptop. The device never established a connection. So yeah, it felt like a hardware-level problem, not a driver fuss. Support eventually admitted the handheld wasn’t compatible, which I wish had been spelled out on the product page. That would have saved time.
Getting a return was its own story. They asked for more “objective proof” even after I sent clear clips showing the failure on multiple systems. The shipping instructions were confusing too — at one point it seemed like I’d cover international shipping even though the return was labeled a quality issue. After returning the unit and a bunch of back-and-forth, they tried to take money for a promotional case that I never paid for or even knew would be deducted. It took persistence, a lot of patience, and careful documentation to finally get my refund.
So yeah, I’m relieved I got my money back. I’m a little bummed the product didn’t work for my devices. Takeaway: double-check explicit compatibility before buying, and keep screenshots and videos handy. If you don’t mind pushing for answers and have patience, you can get things resolved.

    Half-brilliant handheld, half-customer-service-saga

the thing itself is actually pretty impressive, but buying it felt like signing up for a part-time job in troubleshooting. I’m genuinely happy the hardware performs — the screen pops, the specs chew through demanding games at higher wattage, and at low power it’ll last a decent chunk of an afternoon if you keep brightness low. It’s versatile too; tablet one minute, handheld the next, kinda laptop-y if you prop it up. So yeah, the core idea works and I’m relieved about that. Now the why-it-was-rough pile: customer support was a nightmare — awkward English, evasive answers, and a lot of finger-pointing when things went wrong. I got shipped the wrong address twice, received refurbished units with speaker issues and dust behind the camera, and one unit showed up without the keyboard. At one point they asked me to pay $220 to resend — I refused, we eventually split something, it was messy. Software was annoying: random wake-ups from sleep and a corrupted system that forced a factory reset (hello data loss). Design-wise, dust finds every nook — camera and vents fill up quick — and the controllers pop off more than they should. Price feels steep given the quality-control problems; I’d have paid it if the units arrived like new and supported well, but that wasn’t my experience. I’ve bought from more reliable sellers before (Amazon, etc.), and honestly that’s where I’d go next time. Still, I’m grateful the hardware itself delivers — I get fun gaming sessions — but buyer beware: you may need patience, a backup plan, and maybe a little luck.
