I gave this company 3 tries because I believed they were inexperienced and unscrupulous. I have changed my mind, and here's why:
1st order-I ordered beef short ribs. The ribs, in the vacuumed packages looked nice and meaty. Once I took them out for cooking, I was quite surprised. The meat on the ribs had been cut so close to the ... there was barely any meat at all. Then they had been compressed together to the point as to make them appear larger and beefier. Still, I gave them another chance.
2nd order-I ordered London Broil, but received Round steak.
3rd (and now my final order)-I ordered 6 flank steaks. I emailed the company and they did say they would replace the missing steaks. However, what I received was 1 flank steak that had been cut in 3rds. I also ordered 6 filet mignons. I took two out tonight for dinner but when I opened the packages (which were marked as filets), they didn't look like filets I had gotten at the grocery. They were not as lean and heavily marbled with ... So I googled "filet mignon". For those who don't know, the filet is the very tip of the tenderloin. The leanest and most tender part of the tenderloin. What this company is doing is cutting up the entire tenderloin and passing it off as a filet. I now believe this company knows exactly what it's doing. Cutting corners and over charging.
Agridime grass fed beef
We have been eating this beef for months because we were looking for something less expensive. We ordered from agridime my husband even took the time to email the company to make sure they had grass fed and finished beef available. They said they did and sent us meet with grass fed on the package but the words grass finished were not on the package. I am highly allergic to corn and my arthritis gets really bad when I eat corn fed beef. I started to feel my joints inflame and became concerned I called the company twice to ask them if the meet was fed corn at any time during its life and they said no. I even asked about the packaging and the person in customer care said "All of our cows are fed grass only and there just wasn't enough room to put grass finished on the package. This really did not sit with me the right way, I looked at the package and there was more than enough room to put grass finished on the package.
So I just stopped eating the meat we bought from agridime and wrote the farm we normally get our beef from and they said we could find it in the freezer section at costco. I started back eating the meet from the Florida farm we buy from and all of my inflammation went down. I literally started feeling better within a week and by the end of the month the swelling had gone down in all my joints. No more mucus in the morning or tons of sleep in my eyes.
Grass fed and finished beef is not a joke to me and trust in a company means more to me than anything. I do not appreciate being gaslighted and I will be commenting on social media about my experience. Florida's best is the farm that supplies costco and publix its amazing meat the best I have found.
I will not be buying from this company as they are not transparent.
