small, straightforward, not a spaceship. Still, I hesitated — would it survive being shoved into my carry-on? Would it make anything drinkable? Long story short: mostly yes. Setup is easy, the thing is compact and actually fits in my bag without drama. First few uses were great, though I hit a snag: every time I knocked the portafilter to dump the puck, the double basket would pop right out and plop into the knock box (which felt... wrong). I was annoyed but called customer service and left a message. They called back within an hour — which, honestly, I didn’t expect — and after a quick troubleshooting they agreed it was a defect and shipped a replacement portafilter plus new baskets. Got everything in about a week. So the hiccup was real, but fixed fast. Taste-wise the espresso is pretty solid; I started with pre-ground stuff, then switched to grinding beans on the spot and it’s night-and-day better (not that I’m an expert, but I’m picky). Is it perfect? No — it’s a bit noisy and the steamer takes patience — but for what I need (consistent travel espresso, compact size, decent crema) it checks the boxes. Service redeemed the rough start, and I’m using it almost every trip now.

try fixes, or refund/replace if that didn't work. The fixes failed. I picked a refund because I wanted a more advanced model. Refund processed within a day. Support was direct and helpful. Machine otherwise worked fine. It heats up fairly fast and isn't too loud. Cleaning is simple, though the frother was a bit tricky to take apart.
