if they kept prices just a bit lower I'd be even happier, but honestly I'm really pleased overall
Quietly useful, with annoying delivery
solid products, consistent. Then reality check: online delivery is a drag. It costs £6.69 if you spend under £35. It takes five to eight days. Sometimes I just drive to the Bridgnorth store, ten miles away, because their full range isn’t online. That’s awkward. It would be so much better if the nearby warehouse did click-and-collect or if they used a faster, cheaper courier.
There are other annoyances. I forgot porridge once; it was only £2.99. Adding it would have meant paying the full delivery fee again. And you can’t amend orders that sit pending for days. Not the most consumer-friendly setup. Reward points also don’t always match what I spend. Staff in the Bridgnorth shop are helpful though. They try to fix things even when the till doesn’t accept gift cards. That has saved me time more than once.
In short: product quality makes me stick around. Logistics and some backend software need work. Improve those and this would be a near-perfect routine buy.
