the company said the sofa was loaded, the driver said it wasn’t ready. So who knows. I’ve had bad waits with other retailers before, so I thought I knew what to expect, but the mixed messages were what annoyed me most. On the bright side, the sofa itself meets expectations — color matches, sits well, and I’m relieved it wasn’t a flop. I’m grateful it turned out okay, but please, be upfront next time. Honest updates would’ve saved a lot of hassle.
Saw it at a friend's
I actually first saw the sofa at my friend's place—she'd ordered it and kept talking about it, so I went over to try it. The fabric feels like a tight woven cotton blend, slightly textured, not slick, and the color is exactly as in the photos which was a relief. Seat cushions are medium-firm; you sink in a little but it bounces back, good for reading or short naps. Arms are a usable height, and the overall construction feels solid under you. I did mess up the seat-depth numbers — looked at the spec wrong — so it sat a bit deeper than I expected. That was annoying, but Clyde in customer service handled it promptly and without extra charge, which honestly made the difference. If you buy online, talk to someone first, seriously. Good couch, awful delivery
I like the piece itself — color, style and size fit my living room perfectly and it’s already become my go-to spot for working on the laptop, afternoon naps and watching shows with my partner. That said, the delivery was a mess and that's what sticks with me. No one gave me even a one-day heads up; I nearly left to run errands and then got a call on New Year’s Eve saying the truck was outside. Super awkward timing. The crew seemed rushed and uncoordinated — one of them bumped a metal sconce off the wall while trying to hustle things in, and two front legs were barely attached, so they look crooked and I can't tighten them because the screws aren't lined up. I asked the drivers to fix it since a different crew was already downstairs finishing my brother’s sectional, but they left without touching mine. I get that once a sale is done companies move on, but paying extra for delivery should mean they at least follow the contract and communicate. If they just fixed the legs and gave a heads-up next time, I'd be a lot less annoyed. For now I’m enjoying the couch but a bit disappointed with the aftercare.
