    Excellent product selection and value for the money

    Ferm Living plant pot purchase

    I was kinda nervous about ordering from this website because I saw some bad reviews, but it turned out to be a great experience. The Ferm Living plant pot I ordered came really fast and was in perfect shape, all thanks to the strong packaging. They double boxed it and used lots of bubble wrap to make sure my delicate pottery stayed safe during shipping. Opening it felt like opening a present on Christmas morning, and I was so happy with what I got. All in all, it was a really good shopping experience.

    I visited Finland and found this really neat stool that I liked, but I couldn't bring it back with me. So, I found it on FDS and placed an order. It arrived in just 2 weeks and now it looks amazing in our house. I really love it!

    Broken furniture delivery

    I had the worst experience recently! I ordered some furniture from this one place and it showed up all busted up. And then, when I tried reaching out to customer service, they straight up told me they wouldn't help with a return or refund, even though it was their own delivery service, UPS, that messed up. Now I'm out of money and have to deal with getting rid of this wrecked furniture. This is not okay and I'm definitely looking into taking legal action. I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs.

    lighting fixtures

    I took a risk by giving this company a shot even though I saw some bad reviews. Sadly, I am now kicking myself for doing so. The lighting fixtures I purchased showed up all busted, so I right away sent over some pics to customer service to prove it. But it's been weeks and I haven't heard a peep back or gotten any update on what's going on with my complaint. I've reached out multiple times and still... nothing. It's maddening to fork over a good chunk of change for something and then get straight-up ignored when you need help. I'm super let down by their lack of care and communication. Do yourself a favor and avoid this mess of a company. Shop somewhere else!

    Bathrobe purchase

    This was actually my first time ordering from this company, and I ran into a little hiccup with my purchase. The bathrobe I had my eye on was out of stock, but Emmi from customer service stepped in and sorted everything out in a jiffy.     Delayed delivery and missing item

    I'm really disappointed with my experience with this company. My order was delayed by a whole month, way past the estimated delivery date. And to make matters worse, one item was missing from the package. I had to wait another month before I finally got the missing piece. The customer service was the worst part of it all. They acted like everything was fine in their replies, being fake nice and completely ignoring my concerns. I even tried to cancel my order, but got no response, they just didn't care about my problem. When I finally got the missing item, there was no apology or compensation for all the trouble. This whole thing was unprofessional and awful, not to mention how expensive it was. I won't shop with this company again, there are plenty of other design shops online that care about their customers and offer better service.

    I bought some stuff from this store not long ago - some big things and some small things. The big stuff got here like lightning, no problem. But it seems like the small stuff got lost somewhere on its way. I tried hitting up Customer Service for some help but their reply wasn't all that useful. It's pretty disappointing how they're not providing much support, especially when the tracking info hasn't been updated in almost a week.

    Muuto side table

    I recently bought a Muuto side table from this store and it actually arrived earlier than I thought all the way to Belgium. The customer service was great - they were super helpful and even offered to refund me, give me a gift card, or send a new table when they saw that mine had a few dings from the trip. The only downside was that they mentioned having some payment issues at times. I had to do a bank transfer instead of using PayPal, but they still shipped my order out promptly after I made the payment.

They sent it out right away the next day. The problem was UPS gave me some trouble when they were delivering it. But, when I called customer service, they were really helpful and got back to me quickly. They fixed the issue in the end.     Lamp purchase

    I just bought a lamp from the store and it was a really good experience. Their website had a lot of cool designer brands to pick from, so it was easy to find just what I wanted.     Indoor and Outdoor Furniture ... If you are considering purchasing from Finnish Design Shop, I strongly advise against it.

    I am extremely disappointed with Finnish Design Shop's service. I have placed two orders with them in the past four months, and none have been delivered on time or in good condition. My first order, placed in January, was delivered three months late and arrived damaged twice. Some of the products were also missing, and still waiting for them. Despite their website indicating that some products were in stock, I was notified from the first order that I needed to replace 3 lamps since, unfortunately, they were out of stock. They offered me a gift card since they informed me that this has never happened again. I decided to accept it and proceed with another order.

    For my second order, which was supposed to be delivered end of April, again, all the products were indicated as available, and unfortunately, after one month and without receiving any communication, I accidentally saw in the My Previous Orders tab on my account that my order had not been processed yet.

    I have reached out to their customer service team multiple times-more than 20 emails, but unfortunately, I have received no satisfactory response. After my feedback for the not available customer service line, they added the phone number in the email signatures. I have been trying to call them, but they are busy every time I get a response and will call me the next day.

    This has been a recurring issue with this company, and it is frustrating to see that they cannot fulfil what they promise. Despite receiving payment, the products ordered have not been delivered per the agreed terms.

    For the second order, we proceeded with replacing the non-available products, and an offer was made to me for a maximum discount of 11%. Following extensive communication, I accepted this offer. The following day, the same products were advertised online with a discount of 20%. A representative contacted me to express their apologies and explain that the customer service department is not aware of the promotions that the marketing department will offer. The representative expressed his surprise that this situation occurred again with my order, despite our prior communication regarding the maximum discount that could be provided to ensure profitability which was 11%.

    Thus, their lack of responsibility and accountability is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I have spent more than 5 months communicating with them and trying to find a way to receive my orders. I still have not received my paid order.

    If you are considering purchasing from Finnish Design Shop, I strongly advise against it. You will only be met with disappointment, frustration, and a waste of your time and money. So, please save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable retailer!
