vague emails, automated replies, and every time I phoned I got the same line about a “system error” and someone promising to call back. They didn’t. I kept being polite (maybe too polite), but after several attempts I started dreading bedtime more than moving day.
Quietly impressed, with a little stress
the ordering steps could be clearer online. Overall I’m glad I went with them, I told a couple of friends about it, and I’d recommend it if you don’t mind paying a bit extra for decent service.
Moving day phone hell
firm but with some give, mattress cover is soft, the frame feels solid. I slept on it that night and was relieved.
But the money side never got sorted. I checked my card and there was no refund. On May 13 I called and was told there would be no refund because the original bed was bespoke. Nobody told me that on the phone or by email. Answer: “we’re a small team and behind on emails.” Forty days behind? Hard to believe. So now I have to start a chargeback. I’m glad the replacement worked out — really am — but the whole process with the first company was needlessly stressful. If you’re thinking of ordering, ask up front whether it’s bespoke and get cancellation and refund terms in writing. Save yourself the hold music and the extra headache. Small flaw: the replacement mattress has a faint chemical smell for a day or two, nothing major. Overall relieved, but disappointed by the lack of communication.
