the three dresser units could use a back bracket so they sit together more like one piece. Overall I'm glad I bought them, really happy with the experience.
Odd assembly, turned out okay
Weird start — two cabinets showed up with screws and bits missing that should've been preinstalled. Spent a couple hours jury-rigging them and swearing under my breath. Customer phone went straight to voicemail. In the end they're solid enough once assembled, so if you've got patience and basic tools, you can make it work — not perfect, but usable.
Mid-assembly hiccup
I was halfway through assembling my bookshelf when the screw tore the particle board and the hole gave out. So there I was, tools spread on the floor, needing that one replacement bracket to finish the shelf I use every morning for mugs and plants. I called customer service several times — got a looping male voicemail three times, then a woman who said she couldn't understand me and cut off. Tried different times, same result. Can someone tell me how to order the part?
Needed a little reinforcement
Bought this on a bit of a hunch — I hesitated because it was cheap and required assembly, and I’ve had flat-pack issues before. The cabinet shows up exactly like the photos and for $219 I think that's fair. It's a bit light though; we added eye hooks and cables across the back to stop it from swaying (thick carpet probably didn’t help). That sway made leveling the doors fiddly, so allow extra time and a few tools. Compared to other retailers I’ve used, it’s competitive. All in all I’m pleased — looks good, decent value, just expect to do a tiny bit of reinforcement.
