Right when I clicked save on our latest tweak, I actually relaxed — weird, but true. We've used this site a few years and what sold me was how easy it is to jump in, make mirror wills with my husband, and not get nagged by emails. The portal's straightforward, and the annual fee — around £10, I think — lets you make several updates so we tinker without stress. Compared to another company that overcomplicated things, this feels simple and reliable.
Unauthorized charge and messy account access
I noticed a withdrawal from my account for something called "lifetime updates" that I never activated. I tried to log in to fix or cancel it and the account basically didn't exist — no active session, nothing. They later told me I had canceled the day after signing up, which made no sense because I couldn't even log in then. I asked for proof I had logged in or canceled; they couldn't provide any. Support sent a bunch of emails that didn't solve anything, just more replies and wasted time. At one point they offered to change my address for me, and when I said go ahead they said no, actually you have to log in and pay an extra £90 to do it yourself. That was the tipping point. The product might be fine if it worked, but the whole experience feels misleading and clunky — awkward login, unclear charges, poor follow-through. My advice: watch your bank statements and insist on evidence if they claim you did something you didn't.
