I recently bought a bunch of stuff from Avon, like the Coconut milk & raspberry moon milk, White lily bubble bath, Lavender Summer garden bath bomb, Festive GingerBread nutmeg Vanilla, and naturals Hibiscus raspberry hair. I've been into the Avon senses line for a while, and these products lived up to my expectations. It's a bummer that most of them are no longer available, but I stocked up on my favorites before they disappeared. Besides bath and body stuff, I've also tried Avon makeup, like foundation in porcelain and light nude, eyeshadow sticks in essential black, and statement Berry & cool silver. The Lisa Armstrong lipstick and fran lipliner set, and the Emma lipliner, were great additions to my makeup stash. I loved using the Cushion cloud plush in peach, Pinch of pink lip oil, Unlimited drama mascara, Bronzing gel, and Nail enamel in sunset breeze and enchanted relic. One of my go-to fragrances from Avon is the soft musk lily perfume - I always get compliments when I wear it. Overall, I've never had any issues with Avon products. I was an Avon rep for over 2 years and can confirm that they're reliable and high quality. Even after I stopped being a rep, I kept buying from Avon because of my positive experiences.
Perfect eye cream
The black circles were so visible and it was going bad. I also had puffiness and bit of wrinkles, i changed my diet and did yoga too. Nothing helped that much , with that i decided to use the eye cream from here . For last three months, i am using it daily and its really good. My skin is getting better. Also, the darkness started to fade away, giving me fresh look and healthy eyes. Also, the cream is really effective, i started to see results after two weeks but i decided to use it for while.
However the cream is not that cheap but its really effective, so for one-time solution, you can decide to go with this oneSkincare products
I've been a customer of this company for a long time, and I've always loved the quality of their products. But there's one thing that really bugs me - they keep discontinuing stuff! I get that they need to update things, but it would be nice if they could still offer some of the things we really like. I've noticed they've gotten rid of some skincare items that I've used for years, and it's been a real pain trying to find something else that works as well. I wish they could figure out a way to keep us loyal customers happy.
Changes and New Products
I've been buying stuff from Avon for a long time now, but I gotta say, I'm feeling pretty bummed out by some of the changes they've been making lately. They got rid of my all-time favorite, the Avon True Color Lipstick, and the new ones they have just don't do it for me. Plus, trying to find stuff in the "Digital" catalog is a real pain, especially since they updated the website last December. It's way harder to get to the "Brochures" section now. It's just frustrating, you know?
Loyal customer
I've been using their products for years, but lately they've been making changes that I'm not too happy about. Prices are going up, some of my favorite items are being discontinued, and they're trying to be all hip and trendy, but it's not really working for me. I'm thinking I might have to start looking for a new go-to makeup brand.
Glimmerstick eyeliner
I used to love this eyeliner and have been using it for years, but something has definitely changed. The quality of the Glimmerstick eyeliner is just not the same anymore. It keeps breaking and it's super frustrating. Before, one stick would last me for months, but now I run through them so fast. It's really disappointing and not worth the money in my opinion. I think it's time for me to find a new eyeliner to use.
Avon Lily products
I was a big fan of the old Avon naturals shower gel in Lily & Vanilla, but when they changed to Avon Senses, I thought I'd try the Apple & Muguet scent. And let me tell you, it was just as good, if not even better! I also really loved the white lily bubble bath they had. It's a shame that some of my faves got discontinued, but I still stick with my trusty Avon Lily. I've had a really good time using these products and definitely suggest giving them a shot.
Mosquito repellent skin cream
I've been using this skin cream as a mosquito repellent for years and let me tell you, it works like a charm! I live in a place where there are tons of mosquitoes, but ever since I started using this stuff, I haven't gotten a single bug bite. Not to mention, it smells really nice, not too strong, and it's super easy to put on. I definitely suggest giving it a try if you're looking for a more natural way to keep the bugs away without using anything too harsh.
Black Suede Hot roll-on for men
I just bought the Black Suede Hot roll-on for men from this store and I have to say, I'm really happy with it. It lasts a long time, like several days, and the smell is really nice when you put it on. I've tried some other roll-ons from here, but this one and one other are the only ones I really like. I would totally suggest this product to anyone looking for a good roll-on.
Makeup purchase
I recently decided to try out these products because a friend told me about them. I have to admit, I'm really impressed by how good the makeup is. It goes on easy, stays on all day, and just looks amazing. And for the price, you can't go wrong. I would definitely suggest these products to anyone who wants good makeup that won't break the bank.
Lipstick shade mix-up
I ordered some lipstick samples last time and finally found the perfect shade. So this time I decided to splurge on the full-size version, but when it came, it was a completely different color! Not cool at all. And let me tell you about their nail polishes...they look way lighter in real life than they do in the catalog!
Buckle Detail Slide Sandals, size 6
I recently bought a pair of Buckle Detail Slide Sandals in size 6. I have wide feet so I was unsure about getting them, but I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with how they turned out. The fit wasn't good, even though they were too loose at first. I had to add a new hole to try to make them work, which was a pain. After only wearing them for 4 hours, the fake leather material started stretching way too much, making it difficult to walk in them. It was so annoying to have this happen with a brand like this. I ended up throwing the sandals in the trash. AVON really needs to do better with the materials they use for their products.
Makeup and skincare products
I recently tried out some makeup and skincare products from this brand and honestly, I was let down. The quality just wasn't up to par for me. The makeup didn't even last all day and the skincare stuff made my skin irritated. On top of that, the prices have gone up a lot and I don't see any improvement in the products. I used to be a loyal customer, but I've found better options elsewhere now. When I reached out to customer service about these issues, they weren't very helpful. It seemed like they didn't really care about fixing my problems. Overall, I'm pretty bummed out about how this brand has gone downhill.
Direct Sales Beauty Products
I recently found this company that says they help independent sales reps make money by selling beauty products directly to customers. But I'm a bit worried about their business model. Network marketing is okay in theory, but it can get dicey when reps have to buy pricey products they can't sell. I think the focus should be on actual customer sales rather than just selling inventory to reps. Luckily, I decided not to join that company and found another gig as an independent sales agent. In my current job, I don't have to buy products upfront or pay anything. All I do is promote the company and its services, and I get commissions for every sale. MARK liquid lip lacquer (passion it)
I used to really like the MARK liquid lip lacquer in the shade "passion it", but lately, it hasn't been the same. When I first tried it, it had a nice matte texture, a gorgeous dark color, and it stayed on well for a while. However, as I kept using it, I noticed that it started to get shiny and turned more towards red instead of the original deep maroon. It's like the quality of the lipstick just went downhill over time, which is really disappointing. It's always a bummer when a product you love loses its charm because the quality isn't the same anymore.
Invoice Dispute
I recently had a really bad experience with my invoice dispute. They were trying to charge me for a bill from 2021 that I had no memory of. When I contacted customer service, they couldn't find the invoice at all. I was passed around to different teams, and had to explain my situation multiple times. It felt like a never-ending cycle of miscommunication and inefficiency. It was really frustrating, and I ended up feeling ignored and unsatisfied. Needless to say, this whole thing left a bad impression on me, and I won't be using their services again in the future.
Bug repellent purchase
I called customer service at 1 AM to cancel an order that hadn't been shipped yet. They said I couldn't cancel it until it was actually on its way. Well, today the order arrived via UPS. I decided to reject the delivery and send it back unopened to UPS. Avon shouldn't have to deal with returns when they could just let customers cancel orders that haven't been shipped. This whole situation has made me lose faith in Avon and I won't be a customer anymore.
Four perfumes on special
I just bought four perfumes on sale - two have a strong scent that you can smell from far away, and two have a subtle musky fragrance. You should definitely take a look at the Mother's Day special they have!
Online order nightmare
I just had the worst experience with an online order from this one company. I was so pumped to get my stuff, but man, that feeling turned real fast. First off, I tried calling them for help but no one picked up. Then, when I emailed them, it took days for them to respond and they were super vague about my order. And get this - when I tried tracking my order, turns out Canada Post said they never even shipped it and the tracking number was no good. Crazy, right?
