    they basically told me their view that the suite doesn’t carry on much past a year and even suggested the part was “mis-used.” That felt like a shake-their-head moment — we had it installed professionally, weren’t abusing anything, and now I’m being told it’s on me. Practical fallout is annoying: hundreds of pounds to replace and fit the part, plus the hassle of not having the new bathroom fully usable for a while. We’ve been using the old downstairs loo, which sort of proves you don’t always need the newest gear to get the job done. On the plus side, while it lasted the suite looked and felt nice — comfortable sink height, pleasant finishes, decent seat — so I can see why someone might pick it. My takeaway and advice to anyone thinking about the same route: get everything confirmed in writing before you buy — guarantees, who pays for parts after X months, and definitely ask about spare parts availability. Also be ready to call customer service, because the website didn’t let me check out for my area and that added a needless layer of time and irritation. I’d say if you want something that feels good day one, this will do it, but if you expect a worry-free year-plus life without extra costs, be cautious. I’m a bit disappointed but trying to stay mellow about it; just wish the aftercare matched the initial feel.

    Finally, not all bad

    My order sat in processing way longer than promised. It took ages to move through their system. No big updates. I called. A few times. Each call was a bit of deja vu, but the reps were patient, and they actually followed up when I sent photos of the damaged part. So, points for that—someone did respond and acted on the evidence.
    When the delivery finally showed up the first time, the driver was alone. He needed help unloading a large shower screen and tray. Our elderly neighbor ended up lending a hand because apparently the driver wasn’t equipped for heavy lifts solo. That was awkward and not ideal, and I felt bad for asking anyone to help. Still, the item arrived, even if the packaging had been too tight and crushed one of the wall channels. The fitters opened it and we found one channel bent beyond repair. Frustrating, yes. But the company asked for pictures and promised a replacement, and they did send one out as a "next day" dispatch—though, and this is true, their interpretation of "next day" and mine didn’t line up. It was shipped the next day and arrived a bit later than expected because of a cutoff time issue, but eventually it showed up.
    Here’s the thing I want to underline: the replacement was actually perfect. It arrived in much sturdier packaging, no damage at all, and exactly as described. That made the delay worth the while, honestly. The installers were able to finish the job and it looks neat. So while the process felt messy, the end product did what it was supposed to do. They also offered a small goodwill gesture for the hassle, which I appreciated. It won’t fix the lost contractor hours, but it was a decent, human response and I was grateful they tried to make up for it.
    If you’re in no rush and you don’t mind a bit of back-and-forth, the low price is attractive. The product quality—once it arrived intact—was fine for the price. If you want fast, spotless delivery and zero surprises, this might not be your best bet. If you want a bargain and can tolerate possible delays and a bit of admin, it can work out well. I’d probably tell a friend to go for it but with a heads-up: keep an eye on tracking, take photos when opening, and maybe arrange help for unloading just in case. In the end I’m glad we kept our cool. It turned out okay. I’m relieved and kind of happy with the final result.
