communication was messy, I called a few times, was told different things, and didn’t get the promised tracking code. They finally shipped late Thursday with Hermes, which felt like the cheapest option and unsurprisingly it didn’t show up when I needed it. After a bit of arguing I got a small refund for the delivery fee but no real effort to make it arrive sooner. Now the product: once it landed it was fine. Solid enough, no weird smells, assembly wasn’t a headache and the drawers glide nicely — that mattered with my bad back because I didn’t have to force anything. So, service and logistics were frustrating and felt amateurish, but the item itself performs as advertised. I’m skeptical about using them again for time-sensitive stuff, but if you can tolerate a gamble on delivery the unit is decent and does its job. Wish they’d be better at following through on calls and actually use a reliable courier when asked.
Kinda annoyed but pleasantly surprised
I was really unsure before buying this washstand — the pictures looked great but there were no dimensions and I kept thinking, “is this going to fit?” When the plumber came to install it the stand turned out to be the wrong size. He’d already cut the pipes, we had to drain the system to stop leaks, and it was annoying, honestly. Customer service told me the basin is a generic piece that’s meant to be cut to size and that I should’ve found a PDF manual and owned a pipe cutter. Not the most helpful response. On the flip side, once the plumber had time to come back and trim things properly, the basin itself surprised me in a good way — the finish is smooth, the glaze looks high-end, the depth is just right (no annoying splashes), and the mounting hardware felt solid. I started using it the morning after the final install and it actually made my routines nicer. So yeah, my doubts didn’t vanish immediately, but seeing and using the product calmed a lot of them. If you’re handy or okay with a bit of back-and-forth it’s worth it for the look and feel; if not, be warned about the hassle.
Nesting chaos and cracked porcelain
you think the stressful part is the contractions, not a vanity unit. We had the hospital bag ready and were trying to keep calm when our new vanity and toilet seat arrived... shattered. I mean, real cracks, pieces missing. Calling them felt like talking to a blank wall—promises of a 9:30 AM replacement that never showed up, shrugged excuses about couriers, and someone calmly telling us “broken items are normal.” Great confidence booster at 39 weeks pregnant. My wife ended up spending hours on the phone pushing for anything resembling help; they finally agreed to send another unit, then that one was damaged too. At some point they handed the problem back to us—yep, we were supposed to dispose of the broken pieces. Extra time, extra stress, extra trips out when we had enough on our plate already. They also flip-flopped on paying the plumber’s extra day rate; first they said yes, then retracted it saying they’d already been generous. Plumber came three times; we’re out the labor and the unit cost—so yeah, it was a mess. On the plus side, after a lot of nagging the last unit did arrive intact and installed, so I’m relieved and grateful it finally worked out. My advice: if you order from them, document everything, get written guarantees about delivery and compensation, and don’t schedule your plumber until you’ve physically inspected the items. Would’ve saved us time and a lot of gray hairs.
Half-happy, mostly frustrated
they basically told me their view that the suite doesn’t carry on much past a year and even suggested the part was “mis-used.” That felt like a shake-their-head moment — we had it installed professionally, weren’t abusing anything, and now I’m being told it’s on me. Practical fallout is annoying: hundreds of pounds to replace and fit the part, plus the hassle of not having the new bathroom fully usable for a while. We’ve been using the old downstairs loo, which sort of proves you don’t always need the newest gear to get the job done. On the plus side, while it lasted the suite looked and felt nice — comfortable sink height, pleasant finishes, decent seat — so I can see why someone might pick it. My takeaway and advice to anyone thinking about the same route: get everything confirmed in writing before you buy — guarantees, who pays for parts after X months, and definitely ask about spare parts availability. Also be ready to call customer service, because the website didn’t let me check out for my area and that added a needless layer of time and irritation. I’d say if you want something that feels good day one, this will do it, but if you expect a worry-free year-plus life without extra costs, be cautious. I’m a bit disappointed but trying to stay mellow about it; just wish the aftercare matched the initial feel.
Finally, not all bad
that wasn’t exactly how it went, but a few things did turn out better than I feared, so I’m kind of glad we stuck with it.
My order sat in processing way longer than promised. It took ages to move through their system. No big updates. I called. A few times. Each call was a bit of deja vu, but the reps were patient, and they actually followed up when I sent photos of the damaged part. So, points for that—someone did respond and acted on the evidence.
When the delivery finally showed up the first time, the driver was alone. He needed help unloading a large shower screen and tray. Our elderly neighbor ended up lending a hand because apparently the driver wasn’t equipped for heavy lifts solo. That was awkward and not ideal, and I felt bad for asking anyone to help. Still, the item arrived, even if the packaging had been too tight and crushed one of the wall channels. The fitters opened it and we found one channel bent beyond repair. Frustrating, yes. But the company asked for pictures and promised a replacement, and they did send one out as a "next day" dispatch—though, and this is true, their interpretation of "next day" and mine didn’t line up. It was shipped the next day and arrived a bit later than expected because of a cutoff time issue, but eventually it showed up.
Here’s the thing I want to underline: the replacement was actually perfect. It arrived in much sturdier packaging, no damage at all, and exactly as described. That made the delay worth the while, honestly. The installers were able to finish the job and it looks neat. So while the process felt messy, the end product did what it was supposed to do. They also offered a small goodwill gesture for the hassle, which I appreciated. It won’t fix the lost contractor hours, but it was a decent, human response and I was grateful they tried to make up for it.
If you’re in no rush and you don’t mind a bit of back-and-forth, the low price is attractive. The product quality—once it arrived intact—was fine for the price. If you want fast, spotless delivery and zero surprises, this might not be your best bet. If you want a bargain and can tolerate possible delays and a bit of admin, it can work out well. I’d probably tell a friend to go for it but with a heads-up: keep an eye on tracking, take photos when opening, and maybe arrange help for unloading just in case. In the end I’m glad we kept our cool. It turned out okay. I’m relieved and kind of happy with the final result.
