I've used the roadside assistance service from this company a few times, and every time, I've been really impressed by how professional and quick their staff is. The first time I needed help was when I accidentally put the wrong fuel in my car way out in the middle of nowhere. The company quickly sent a recovery truck to tow my car to a nearby campsite for repairs and even had a mechanic fix it the same day. Another time, my car wouldn't start in a remote area, and a mechanic showed up within an hour to get it running again. Then, I had a flat tire on a busy highway, and once more, the company came to help right away, getting me and my car home safely. I actually recommended this company to my daughter, and she had a great experience with them too. Overall, my experiences with them have been top-notch, and I highly recommend their awesome service.

I was in a tough spot when my suspension gave out and my tire went flat in the middle of nowhere. I quickly reached out to GEM using the app and got a call back from a guy named Yuk, who was super friendly, helpful, and knew his stuff. He told me that help was on the way. They even gave me a link to track where the breakdown vehicle was. Surprisingly, the breakdown vehicle showed up in just an hour and a half, even though it was early on a Monday morning out in the sticks. The technician who came was polite and knew what he was doing. He managed to get my car on the truck without causing any more damage, even though the front of my car was practically touching the ground. This was my first time using GEM, and I have to say I was really impressed with their service. Thanks a lot, GEM. I'll definitely be renewing my subscription when the time comes.

The service that GEM provided for my motorcycle breakdown was pretty good at first, with operators who were nice and helpful. But, waiting for three whole hours for someone to come help me was just not okay at all. It left me stuck next to a busy road with no way to get moving again.

My car broke down and I had to get it towed home. GEM was fantastic with getting to me quickly and keeping me updated the whole time. The team was really helpful and checked on me to make sure I was doing okay and they also answered all my questions. The tow truck driver was great too. I definitely suggest GEM for anyone who needs help with a car breakdown.

The application process was really easy, the cover we got was exactly what we needed, and the price was definitely fair. Even though we haven't used the service yet, we feel pretty sure they'll come through based on our experience with their friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Breakdown assistance
I want to share about a recent disappointing experience I had with the breakdown assistance service I got from GEM. They said they had lots of local recovery firms ready to help, but that wasn't the reality. When my car broke down, it took them more than an hour to even contact a recovery service, which was really frustrating because I needed help quickly. They didn't call back or give any updates, and when I asked for information, the person I talked to didn't seem to know much and wasn't very helpful. The recovery firm they eventually sent had to come from far away, making me wait even longer and causing more inconvenience. Because of this, I'm not happy with the service and I'm not sure if I want to renew my subscription with GEM in the future.
Joint policy with my son
My son hit a pothole and had a flat tire, so he used that app to call for help. He got a text with the info of the recovery company and they showed up in about an hour. They got him home safe in an hour and a half. DJ Recovery did a great job, they were really quick and efficient. I was impressed with how smoothly everything went.
Help for my mom's car
My mom's car broke down, so she called GEM for help. They got there super fast and got her car working again. The person who came to help was really nice and told her what to do next. I'm just relieved they were able to assist her since she's not great with cars.
