front and back modes and you can dial the water pressure easily. I was pleasantly surprised the nozzles retract neatly when not in use. Biggest win for us: no electricity needed, so it still works during outages and saves on worry. Minor gripe: the lid feels light, probably so it can close softly, but I’d trade that for something sturdier. Overall solid buy for everyday use.
Midnight leak, mixed experience
Middle of the night I woke to water pooling on the bathroom floor — not how you want to start a day. We bought the Horow toilet a couple years ago and the inlet fill valve connection just snapped, no obvious reason. I ordered what looked like the same replacement from their site but got a different assembly. After a few emails they called it an "upgrade" and there was no real apology, which rubbed me the wrong way. On top of that a request to rate the purchase arrived in Chinese, so I had to translate it — felt weird for a US order. To be fair, after I pushed a bit they did send a working replacement and the leak is fixed, so I'm somewhat satisfied now. Still, their listings and communication need tidying up; not the smoothest experience compared to other vendors I've used.
Glad I picked the T38P
this thing does what it says and I'm happy with it. I first saw a demo video and then my neighbor tipped me off, so I ordered one to try. Ordering was straightforward and they handled my indecision like champs — I canceled and changed the order a couple times and never ran into a fuss. The seat arrived well packed and on schedule. Install was doable solo even though I'm pushing 60 and the toilet is heavy; I used a plumber's lift tool I bought beforehand and that made the lift way easier. The instructions and a few online videos filled in the gaps. Customer service was patient and spoke clear English, which made everything less stressful when I had questions. It's been a few months now with no hiccups. I like that they have tutorial videos if I ever need a part or maintenance tips. Small note: it’s hefty to move, so plan for that. Overall I'm relieved I didn't overthink it. It feels solid, works fine, and the whole buying experience was calm and reliable.
Late-night install win
no rattles, no weird noises, and the modern look fits the room. If I have one gripe, the instructions could be clearer and a short checklist of tools would’ve saved me some back-and-forth. Also maybe ask someone to help lift when installing — that made things easier. All in all I’d recommend it if you want a solid, quiet toilet and don’t mind a little patience at setup. Worth it for how it performs day-to-day.
Nice Seat, Won't Flush
when the box arrived I actually got a little excited — it looks sharp and the seat is surprisingly comfy, heated up faster than I thought it would. That tiny bit of luxury lasted about five minutes though. From day one this unit has never flushed right. We had a licensed plumber install it so it wasn't user error, and every other smart toilet in the house works fine, but this one just refuses to behave. I've emailed, left voicemails, reached out more than once and heard nothing back, which honestly annoyed me more than the malfunction itself. The controls feel nice, the lid is soft close, the warmth is a nice surprise, but when it comes to basic flushing it's useless. For the money I expected something that actually works. If Horow ever contacts me and sorts it out I'll update this, but until then my wife has banned any more stuff from them in our home. My advice: if you want reliability, look at brands with better support like Toto, Kohler, or BioBidet — at least they answer the phone.
