    Shelf full of sighs

My desk looks like a miniature fan convention, except half the figures arrived with bent pieces. I buy these things to liven up work days and to make colleagues poke fun at my hobbies. The scale and sculpting are fine for casual display. But lately the price tag says premium and the feel says cheap. Boxes come beaten. Foam is thin. That one time a cape was creased I swore softly, then found the paint on the face was actually really detailed — weirdly good. So yeah, mixed feelings. Shipping shows up months late sometimes, and tracking is vague, so expect waiting and a little worry. I used to order more, rotate them on my shelf, but now I think twice. Good surprise here and there, but packaging and timing need real work.

    Slow, frustrating but refunded

crickets. The order stayed "in progress" on the site while the estimated delivery date passed. I emailed customer service a few times and got replies that were painfully slow, sometimes taking a week, and often just saying "no worries, we're on it" without any real info. After about a month of me nagging, pointing out expired dates, and asking them to actually check the status, they admitted there was a bug and refunded me. The refund arrived, but the figure had sold out and I’d wasted about two months. Felt like I had to do their job and report the problem myself, which is annoying. On the upside, they did follow through with the refund and were polite when they finally answered. So yeah, poor communication and slow delivery, but the money came back. If you’re patient, maybe okay; otherwise look elsewhere.

Refund finally, but it was a slog

shipped to the wrong address, delays from the get-go, and several attempts to reach support that just... didn't stick. After two months of back-and-forth (and paying taxes twice, which was annoying), they did eventually contact me and refunded the shipping cost. That exact moment, when the money showed up, was when I felt satisfied — not happy, but okay, that's handled. It wasn't smooth, no, and the 15% off they finally offered felt a bit useless after the hassle. If they'd been this responsive from the start, I'd be singing a different tune. As it stands, decent outcome but only after a lot of patience; I’ll think twice before ordering again unless they actually clean up support.

Delivery and service let it down

“we sent it.” Okay, maybe, but the result was the same — my deposits sat there and the pre-orders were canceled without offering any real remedy or a store credit that matched the loss. So I lost money and options, basically.

    Forced Cookies

I was pretty bummed with my experience at Iron Studios because they weren't really upfront about the whole cookie situation on their website. Most companies let you mess with your cookie settings or at least show you what info they're collecting, but Iron Studios just gives you one choice: "accept and move on." It's like they're making you hand over your personal data without even asking.
