happy about the cream, frustrated by the subscription maze.
Pleasant product, annoying subscription
I picked this up back in December just to try it out during the colder months — and honestly, the stuff feels nice. Texture is smooth, not greasy, and it absorbed fast which I liked. I kept using it for a few weeks and was actually surprised at how well it worked, so that part made me happy. Then, months later I randomly noticed an upcoming shipment and realized I’d been put on a subscription without really noticing that at checkout. The site lets you move dates or skip a shipment, but there’s no obvious “cancel” button — you have to call. I called a few times and kept getting told they’d “pause” it until June, even though I said I wanted it canceled. It took a bit of back-and-forth and a confirmation email before it was actually stopped. Leaves a weird taste, but again, product itself did what I wanted. So I’m glad it wasn’t a dud, just wish the subscription stuff was clearer and cancellation easier. Heads up if you try it — enjoy the product, but double-check those settings.
Not the smooth experience I expected
this was more hassle than it needed to be. I bought some products because they were from a brand I trusted and there was a promotion, and at first they seemed fine. After a week or so I noticed my skin got oilier and more congested — not a fit for me — so I returned the first set I’d used. I ordered again because the promo was still running, but I accidentally picked the wrong set. I tried to cancel right away and was told cancellation wasn’t possible, that I’d have to return it instead. So I returned both orders, paid return postage myself, and felt like the people I spoke with didn’t really try to help or make it right. What bothered me most was the lack of flexibility and that I was charged to send back products that didn’t suit me or were ordered by mistake. For what it’s worth, the items themselves initially felt decent, but they just didn’t work for my skin. If you’re thinking about ordering, double-check your cart and be prepared to cover returns — and don’t expect much from customer support on cancellations. I wish they had an easier cancel option or free returns, that would have changed my mind. Small thumbs up for product feel at first, but overall a frustrating experience.
Nice products, annoying return runaround
texture felt nice, skin had a little glow, packaging looked solid — all the small things that make you think, okay this might actually be decent. Then after a couple of weeks my face started getting oilier than usual, little buildup around my nose, so it turned out it didn’t agree with my skin. I decided to send back the first items I tried.
Because the promo was still running and I was initially happy, I ordered another set, but I goofed and picked the wrong kit. I canceled as soon as I could and they told me cancel wasn’t an option — I’d have to return it. So I wound up returning both orders and, to my surprise, I had to cover the return shipping. The people I talked to were polite but didn’t offer much help or empathy, which left a bad taste.
Overall: I’m glad the products looked and felt premium and delivery was fast, but the returns process was a real downside. If you’re picky about returns or have sensitive/oily skin, be careful — the stuff itself is decent, just know the policy.More trouble than it's worth
the product is meh, but the real issue is the delivery/refund choreography and the slow, inconvenient support. If they fixed the portal and made refunds transparent, I’d be less annoyed, but until then I’ll be hesitant to reorder.
