Glasses purchase
I got these really awesome glasses from here and I'm super excited about them! They have some of the coolest designs and the frames are so stylish. Whenever I wear them, I always get a ton of compliments. I'm already looking forward to buying more!

TERRIBLE COMPANY, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. I got my bifocals reasonably fast, left lens is fine, right lens is completely wrong. Lensmart goofed on the cylinder reading on my RX and then tried to blame ME for the error. Said I wrote it wrong on the order form! I didn't fill out an order form... I sent them the RX and THEY filled it out wrong. I was an optician for 22 years and didn't have a successful practice by messing up RXs! They offered to refund me the price for my frame: $6. It would be laughable if this outfit wasn't so crooked. They then said they would remake the bad lens if I paid again. Their answer is always "lenses are a custom product and cannot be sold twice". Yeah, that's why you want to make them correctly the FIRST time, because if you don't the company must absorb the cost, not the customer! False advertising, NO real refund policy, NO customer service, and the quality of the goods is terrible. Add to that the fact that they do all this work OUTSIDE OF THE US. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHADY OUTFIT.ruyiry

Never order from here. The glasses may be cheap but the customer service is awful. I never complain about things but when I ordered I was hopeful then they pushed my delivery date back 6 weeks. On top of all that when I went to cancel my order they ignored everything I said and I had to send multiple emails telling them to cancel it. They finally got back to me saying they have to charge an extra 10% for the cancel and will only give me 90% of my money back and asked I confirm yet again to cancel my order. I am so tired of trying to deal with these people. Save your time, sanity and money by ordering elsewhere.
Eyeglasses
Purchased them because I liked my friend's glasses. Later she said her glasses were blurry and she couldn't get it resolved. Lensmart claimed she entered the wrong prescription. After reading Lensmart's replies, that's what they're telling everyone. Mine arrived today and they're very blurry.
Prescription glasses with progressive lenses
Do not purchase progressive lenses from this company. My RX multifocal progressive lenses are only clear if I look forward, there is no peripheral vision at all. I contacted them to return the glasses and get a refund and this is the answer I received:
“ the visible area of the progressive lens is in the middle, and the two sides of the lens are invalid areas.
If you can't accept it, do you need to replace the lens with a single vision lens?”
I have been wearing multifocal lenses for 10 years and they all provided peripheral vision clarity. The response from lensmart indicates that they are not competent in providing this product. I DON'T RECOMMEND GETTING GLASSES FROM THEM! It took 6 weeks for my glasses to come. Then when I tried to return them they NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE OR MY EMAILS FOR MY RETURN! So I mailed them back to the address they were shipped from because you only have 3 days to return them back to them for a full refund. They received the glasses back because I paid extra for tracking and delivery signature. Now they are saying they never received them! When that's a lie because I have an email confirmation it was delivered and signed for. I'm still fighting to get a REFUND since October 2022! And it's Jan 11, 2023 and I still haven't heard from them!

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses, same prescription. 1 pair had the correct prescription but the other pair was not correct. I couldn't see out of the lenses (even when holding the glasses upside down as they asked me to do - which ok, still wouldn't matter), everything was super blurry. I sent a message to their email because that is the only way you can get help (their FB messenger also refers to the email address). I sent a copy of my prescription which did not include the PD, I had to go to my vision doctor to get my PD measurement and entered that in the website as it was required for the glasses. The representative stated that my prescription must have been changed after I received the glasses which was incorrect. I entered my prescription as is -4.50 for both eyes, then had the doctor measure my PD and entered that in my order. The representative (they never tell you their name, just say "customer service center") kept saying I changed my prescription. I asked for a manager 3 times and they ignored and kept saying "you changed your prescription after you ordered". I looked for phone numbers and other ways to contact this company and haven't found any other way. I also messaged them on FB but was referred to the same email.
Prescription single vision glasses
I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. I went with this company based on word of mouth; I work for an ophthalmologist so I was elated to hear of a place that could fill Rx's for a decent price with great styles. However, this all became a huge nightmare... After receiving my order, that first day I knew immediately something was wrong with the lenses. I could only see through the center; every area of peripheral vision was distorted/warped/blurry (meaning I have the wrong shaped lenses). I contact the company trying to see if I made a mistake when ordering; after providing my original glasses Rx request, I was told "we have customized the lens for you according to your original RX" then tried to have me test to see if the Rx was correct? I confirmed that the Rx was correct, but something was wrong with the lenses, asked if maybe the PD (pupillary distance) was the reason for the issue in the larger frames? Was again told "we are sorry, but you have the Rx you ordered"... I repeat again I know it is not the Rx, but the lenses themselves that are the issue. I verified with my ophthalmologist that the Rx was correct and had them check out the lenses... they are spheric (which is causing the whole problem I am having) not aspheric (as I ordered). I present the company with this information and am told "we checked your order and found that you bought aspherical lenses", to which I replied "I am aware that is what I purchased, but that is not what I received. If I had aspherical lenses, then what is causing the distortion? I need new glasses made, I'll ship these back and pay any difference"; their response "sorry, what do you mean? are our lenses bent? can you send a picture for us?"... By this point I just want this taken care of and am at my wits end. I again explain the problem, tell them my ophthalmologist verified the problem, and that I am requesting either new lenses be sent out to me, or an exchange of whole product in which I will pay for any difference in price; I just want to be able to use my glasses. After waiting a whole day, I get a response of "sorry, there is no problem with our lenses, maybe the frame is too big for you, you can change to a smaller frame"... at this point I am completely done with them and in so many words express how dissatisfied I am with their lack of customer service and care. This isn't just some accessory, or clothing product, this is for people's vision for Christ's sake! You shouldn't have to battle with them to get something corrected that you know for a fact is wrong. Terrible customer service, waste of time and money; STAY AWAY! Go someplace that will take the time to listen to their customers and treat them well, this company is clearly just in it for the money. Will never order from them again.

Bad in all respects. It has been well over 2 months since a bought and paid for glasses. Terrible at updating service and have never determined where my glasses are. Got a message a few days ago tauting great news my glasses are at a deliving post office....got an email last night everything is fine they are processing and I will be updated. I have got so many of these emails I am sick of them. We are talking almost 3 mos now. The whole service has been horrible. Absolutely no way to know honestly what is going on with your order. I am sorry but the most positive aspect I can submit is SCAM . I truly expect if any reply to this at all, it will be don't worry about it everythings fine, so far that is all I have heard. I submit this number although I dont know what it pertains to or if it is legit.

This "company" is such a fraud. All I have to say. Do not give them your money. Just a warning. I would not even give them a 1 for a review. If there was a negative number, thats where they are.
3 pair bifocals
I ordered three pair of lined bifocals. Shipping was slow. Just received them and am so disappointed. I can’t even see out of them. The bifocal bottom for up close appears to be my script for distance. What a mess. I need glasses and have anxiously awaited them. I also would have never ordered had I realized this company is not even in the USA!!! I also ordered from another online company. They came today and are perfect. So I know the prescription is correct. Lensmart is not recommended.

I received my glasses and they are clear and precise. They are absolutely gorgeous. It took time to get to me. It is the same glasses as the model is wearing.

Your company is obviously a scam I ordered the glasses that I absolutely fell in love with I spent $114 on them out of pure necessity in the factor that I thought they were beautiful I wanted something different than what you can get in the local stores and I got taken to the bank you're a scam company

I was so excited to finally receive my two pair of glasses, which took long than expected...Both scripts were wrong...I received them Monday , contacted them right away and still have not head a thing back. I am so disappointed with the whole experience.
