I don't feel confident about how this was handled. On July 21, 2025 a $73.36 charge showed up on my bank account under Nomad Outdoor. I called their number — nobody picked up. I emailed and did get a reply, but it was a form response saying criminals are using their name and they have no affiliation. Fine, but that didn't fix anything. My bank said to file a dispute and they could pursue it; they even put a temporary hold while investigating, which was actually helpful. Still, it would be nice if the company did more than send a canned note — like proactively stop shipments or work directly with banks. Right now I'm left guessing whether the charge will be refunded. My advice: if you see an unexpected Nomad Outdoor charge, contact your card issuer first, don't rely on the seller's statement. They might be legit, or it might just be a name being used by fraudsters — I don't know, and that's the point.
