I first spotted these in a downtown shop window — my friend actually shoved me toward them, said "try them," and I was like, nah, heels are usually murder. I worried about the height and the width, nervous they'd be stiff or pinch, but after wearing them a few hours they somehow loosened up and were way more walkable than I expected (surprising arch support, honestly). Not flawless — the finish picked up a tiny scuff after a week and the price felt a bit steep — but my doubts mostly faded and I do reach for them more than I thought I would.
